"Blade is shorter than I thought it’d be. Should’ve paid closer attention so that’s on me. Pain to get out of the sheath, but quite solid so it definitely won’t fly away in strong winds or anything. Also, came not sharp, so if you’ll have to sharpen it yourself if you want an actual sharp blade. The engraving was quite nice."

"I have bought several of these w/ the engraving upcharge. I miss spelled on my first one which they were quick to reach out and get it fixed. The second one was also fixed but was actually correct the way I sent, (That one wasn't asked about). The third came as it was written. The umbrella works great. Works like any other umbrella should. The handle is a quite long especially considering the type of "sword" this is. The blade is thin with no shapened edges. And a fairly rounded tip. This blade is more of a skewer. You are getting a piercing blade with a slashing weapon handle. The fuller is for decoration as this is a really lightweight weapon. The button release can be hard to undo in a pinch especially if you do not have nails and the way it releases makes you go for a slash motion off the bat. Because of the construction the blade wobbles a bit when inside the umbrella. A better push button or maybe a pin release would definitely make it better. But will most likely buy again regardless."

"The umbrella is huge, which is needed in this area. The blade would have been of more use made of plastic. The blade was stamped from some waste material, was very soft, badly shaped, and covered with machine marks. There is no way I would risk a real encounter with that blade. I have ordered a good blade and handle from a blade smith I know. The umbrella was worth the price."

"The umbrella part? Top notch. Quality. The sword/handle? Dull… and a bit long. The cheap plastic look alike handle… why advertise “I have an umbrella sword?” No. I destroyed the plastic, leaving me a decent platform to work with. Found an old, broken fishing pole. I made my own handle, tyvm. Looks way closer to an actual umbrella handle, and it deploys very smoothly. Showed it off to friends, before and after. They all agree I upgraded it nicely. I now have a very nice sword umbrella. Ditch the handle… it’s big, clumsy and dumb advertising. But? If you want a sword umbrella? This is a solid platform to start with. Wish I knew how to upload a pic, I’m pretty proud of how I modified it. If you want a sword/umbrella? Buy this, and make it something different handle wise. I’m glad I did."

"as the headline states good idea bad execution. for some reason this toy is still getting good ratings, the title of this toy has fully functional suggesting its a weapon. i could sneeze to hard at this thing and break it, i definitely wouldn't fear it lol. look avoid this if you want something functional get a sword cane not....this thing...and not one of the cheap viper headed sword canes made of stainless. stainless steel gets brittle after 6 inches. go with carbon, you're welcome."
