"I bought this for a Vietnam veteran and retired Baltimore police officer. He lit up like a Christmas tree. Said it has a good balance for defense and very sturdy as a cane. He added a rubber grip to the bottom for grip on wood and concrete floors, but it needed nothing else. He's extremely happy and I hope he only needs to use it as a cane. Thank you for allowing me to give this gift to a veteran."

"Don't hesitate to buy this awesome Irish style walking cane. Great price too. I use it as a 'helper' on my walks, it adds stability to my walking. It has a tiny tiny bit of flex that gives it a springy helpfulness. It's meant to do that, and is indestructible. I don't consider it a weapon since I'm not in the 1800's. I use it exclusively as a cane. It's gonna be by my side for years."
