boker plus rambler

Austrian Raimund Lhotak has created a magnificent object d'art and this is proof that less is more. The blade cuts like a scalpel and is controllable in the hand due to the well thought out handle design and thumb ramp. While 440 stainless has developed a bad rep over the years, it is the choice of those who have little time to attend to the blade or keep it in poor climate conditions, as well as being relatively easy to sharpen-team this knife with Smiths Knife Sharpener 2 Step (Item #40 SMCCKS) and it will produce fuzz sticks until the cows come home or make short work of trout or bird (several passes along the spine of the trout will be necessary to filet properly). It isn't adequate for rhino or croc, but I wouldn't sell it short for white tail, elk or mule deer. I believe so strongly about this knife I've got three of 'em!

Nice Small Knife

Beautifully made, small knife, fits nice in the small of your back. Small handle fits comfortably in my large hands. It'd be nice if it had a clip to keep it in my boot.

Great Knife

I purchased one of these knives as a back up for concealed cary training. It is short enough to carry comfortably all day in the small of the back. Many of the guys I train with ask about it and want to know where they can get one. I highly recomend these for quick access backup.

Good Solid little knife

This is a good solid little knife. I wear an XL glove and it fits in my hand well. The broad blade would make a great little food prep, camp knife, large game gutter/skinner or EDC belt knife. The sheath is quality leather and the knife fits in it well and will not slip out. I havent had the handle scales off but given its weight i can tell that the tang isnt milled out. The knife is a little heavy for its length but feels good in the hand. I'm sure it will not have a problem with field dressing a deer. Since it is a fixed blade knife it will clean up easily. The only thing i would do is add a deeper first finger groove and sharper gimping along the top of the blade to give your thumb slightly better grip. The smooth handle is short but its roundness makes up for its length and could use some checkering on the sides to enhance the grip.
