"Excellent bowie and very good price point!!! 1095 full tang bowie and very sharp!!!"
"Superb"
"The Box says... " Hand crafted in China". You don't expect anything from China to look and feel Hand crafted but this thing does! I can see some Chinaman actually putting his heart into this knife and I can't wait to put it to use! Its VERY sharp and I intend to keep it that way and really use it. It won't just be show piece! The Sheath is one of the reasons I bought it and it too has that hand crafted feel! I moved the leather string from it and ran it through the knife lanyard hole. This thing is ready to Rock and Roll !!!"
"Overall, it's an excellent knife. Good 1095 steel, well known for corrosion resistance and ability to hold an edge long enough. It's also durable and well balanced. Qualifies in the light to medium range for survival tasks, but still a fantastic option for an EDC and camping. The only downside I would point out to is that handle seems a bit short compared to the size/width of the blade. I wear medium size work gloves and it feels a bit short. An additional .75" in handle length would have made a big difference, or a rear quillon to improve control. Aside from that, nothing to complain. Great price, very good blade, awesome shipping!"
"I love the leather sheath. I love the knife as well. Well made and pretty sharp out of the box."
"I am greatly impressed with the Bushmaster Bowie! Good quality knife and sheath. Has a nice feel to it and will see use around the farm and campsite."
"I'm excited to give as new chef's knife, but why is the sheath not as wide as widest of the blade. I mean, it fits with a push, but on a belt, it takes securing the sheath tip to take out the "Butcher Bowie"."
"I was intrigued by the look of the knife on the website, so I bought it, hoping it would be like an Old Hickory brand knife. It is, but better! Its got the good cutting steel just like the Old Hickory I grew up with, but its thick, and strong. It will handle cutting like a machete in a pinch, but will also cut like a utility, or kitchen knife. I think this will get a lot of use around my campsite. Its small enough to be worn on the belt, and forgotten about while doing chores...The sheath is solid also. It feels a bit like a K-bar in the hand, just a tad meatier. At $50 bucks, it ain't cheap, but its a solid knife, and I doubt I will have to buy another knife anytime soon. I don't regret buying it at all."
