"Ok"
"First let me say the above knife appears very well made, extremely sharp out of the box, the sheath material appears very durable and the "clicking" mechanism to secure the knife into the sheath locks it VERY secure! The knife and sheath come with a lengthy "lanyard" also. However, it is NOT designed as a "boot knife" as other reviewers have documented! It comes with a molded-in "belt" carry loop, it has NO clip to attach to a boot, and the method suggested to secure it to a boot is to wrap the lengthy "lanyard" around your boot. I feel this is a very poor method of securing the knife to a boot. The locking security for keeping the knife in the sheath requires a fair "tug", to remove it from the sheath. This action alone would loosen the knife's connection to the boot shaft, and the knife would be loose and soon would no longer be "stealthily" concealed. But would probably be sliding down the boot shaft and dropping to the ground beneath one's trouser leg! It appears to be more of the "commando" style knife, which were traditionally secured "upside-down" to the chest or arm in some manner. Or, to be carried on the belt openly which it seems to be designed for more easily. The lanyard could, I suppose, allow one to secure it to the leg in the fashion of a "fast draw" gunslinger. But as a "boot knife"? No and NO. I guess you could drop it into your boot, loose, and hope for the best? But it is felt the material for the sheath would soon be most uncomfortable as it "sloshed" around in your boot. Very well made knife, but it is not designed to be a boot knife, regardless of the name and designation assigned to it by the manufacturer."
