Legendary Homage!

"I purchased this reproduction sword as a birthday gift for my father to commemorate our adventures exploring the possibility that members of the legendary order of the Knights Templar were exploring the New World nearly 100 years before Christopher Columbus, which includes our pilgrimage to visit the Westord Knight Memorial in Massachusetts of which the inscription reads "Prince Henry, First Sinclair of Orkney, Born in Scotland, made a voyage of discovery to North America in 1398. After wintering in Nova Scotia, he sailed to Massachusetts and on an inland expedition in 1399 to Prospect Hill to view the surrounding countryside, one of the party died. The punch-hole armorial effigy, which adorns this ledge, is a memorial to this knight. " I believe my father was very happy with this reproduction sword to pay homage to the legend of the Knights Templar. It feels solid, well made and has a nice weight to it, although there were some very minor blemishes with the paint and small scratches, nothing serious. It looks very nice hanging on the plaque that was included, especially next to our family photos on the wall. In Hoc Signo Vinces!"
