Dont Tread On Me RR530 Assisted-Open 2 For 1

After awhile I had to tighten up a couple of screws, and the coating starts to rub off. This makes a great tool box knife, or kitchen drawer knife. It is not made for heavy duty work. The knife looks good and feels nice in the hand. I would buy this knife if you're looking for an inexpensive knife to do simple light duty things with.

Good solid cheap knife. Keep it sharp and it will serve you well. Had mine for over 2 years now and still going strong.

Look, with buy one get one free, they end up being 5$ a piece. To me, knives are like sunglasses. They are just too easy to break or loose to put any real money into. But for $5 a piece, I get several at a time and each will last anywhere from a couple of months to a couple of years. The blades are good quality and can easily sharpen them. the body is sturdy enough, however, but quality is lacking. I have to "tune" most of them. Some I have had to file the locking mechanism to ensure it fully locks, others I have had to adjust the assist spring or smooth out the action. They have the tendency to fall apart occasionally. I have a box of parts of these things as the old ones have broken and fallen apart. Again, for the price, they are awesome. I have no worries of loosing one, abusing/breaking one, or just giving one away if anyone likes it. Knives are not indestructible. If you give these a little care and attention, they will serve you right, for the price.

This is a really great blade. Its VERY sharp right out of the box, and for the price... it's unbeatable

Excellent value for a Patriotic theme assisted-open knife with built-in glass breaker and seat-belt cutter. Love the Don't Tread on Me on the blade. The BOGO offer is too good to pass up. Ordered more again... to give as gifts this past Christmas. I would recommend this knife... even if it were not BOGO.

Great Knife - Feels Good in your hand - Solid Weight Knife - Strong & Well Built.

Great 2 for 1 value- I keep one in each car in the event I come upon an accident or find myself in trouble. Knife is very sturdy and I tried the glass breaker and seatbelt cutter on a junker and they both work well.

This is a good tactical better than the other reviewer negatively states. The blade is easy to strike out and good quality construction. Can't go wrong at this price !

I have purchased four knives of this design. One worked great, one opened very sluggishly and two were somewhere in between. Over all, this is a good $5.00 utility knife. If you are expecting knife fight, spend more money. To throw it in your glove or tool box it is all you need. I went back for two more after getting the first two.

These came today since I was in need of a rescue knife for my car. For 5 bucks apiece (10 bucks BOGO) I am quite pleased. The blades are reasonably sharp. One has a perfet assisted open but the other one is barely assisted open at all (cheap knives are notoriously inconsistent). The only major problem Ive seen is that one does not engage the liner lock all the way so BE CAREFUL to note that. A few minutes with a file will fix it but glad I noticed...

I bought these BOGO which made them about $5 each. I can say that I wasn't expecting much for the price, but since the design was the same I thought that they would at least be on par with the Apocalypse (green) version. I know someone who has an apocalypse open assist and is satisfied with it. This is NOT the same quality... DO NOT EXPECT TO USE THIS AS A FIRST RESPONDER KNIFE! After cutting 1 plastic bundle strap with the seatbelt cutter it was rendered unusable. The blade is damaged and it won't cut anything now. Glad I didn't use it for a seatbelt cutter. The glass breaker feels like it would break off if I actually tried to use it. The handle is plastic, not aluminum like the apocalypse version. All that being said, the open assist is solid and the blade doesn't have any movement; however I've yet to actually use it because I'm afraid that if the quality of the seatbelt cutter is any indication it may be dull after cutting a piece of paper. The blade is already pretty dull anyway. I CAN RUN IT DOWN THE PALM OF MY HAND WITHOUT CUTTING MYSELF!! A little time on a sharpener might sharpen it up, but I wouldn't trust it to hold an edge. I bought these as beater/throwaway knives because I go through so many; however, now I'm wishing I had just bought the apocalypse knife. I know it's only 1 knife for the same price, but at least it's usable. This American Patriot version is basically nothing more than decoration... These are destined to frustrated me and end up given away to someone else or thrown in the garbage...
