With true grip handle I was holding 12 by 8 inch group at forty yards in a few minutes practice. I use whiskey box with empty plastic bottles inside for target. Stops em every time.

I love the product but i wish they came in a hard plastic abs or kidex holster similer to the olver the sholder holster.

I love these knives! I have several different sets and styles of throwing knives. Most of them bought through Budk. All of them are great knives I got for a great price. But these knives are my favorite to throw. Long distance, short distance it doesn’t matter these knives do extremely well doing both. They’re tough and last a long time. I have two sets and will probably get another one in the future. Thanks Budk

Oct 24, 2016

This kunai set is one of the best sets I have owned so far. The weight is great, it's durable to withstand even CONCRETE, the detail is superb, and overall not disappointing at all! These knives are great for throwing, and I would definitely recommend this!

Jul 31, 2016

I originally got these to complete my Expendables collection once I have started throwing them I was pleasantly surprised the quality is superb and the balance is incredible truly a great set
Apr 07, 2016

This is the fifth set I've purchased, and haven't been disappointed yet. Just some really great craftsmanship. Probably get more in the near future.
Jan 12, 2016

A lot bigger than expected. Good balance pretty sharp. Will definitely return to order again
Nov 08, 2015

The knives themselves are very balanced the balance point is about an inch over the edge of the string rapped handle. Which brings me to the handle wrap, it is pretty fragile but if you've had experience with throwers the wrap can last you a couple of months. The tip on the knives is pretty wicked and they have a crazy sharp edge. The down side is that the blade can mushroom easily but can be fixed easily with a belt sander. They throw nicely but the ring takes some skill but once you are used to it u can do a variety of throws. The sheath is a great design but is crappy material. Overall it's pretty sweet!!!,
Aug 22, 2015

very sharp good quality blade handle could be a little more kept together and had no problems with the case they came in
Feb 22, 2015

These are very large heavy knives that throw well. The point is very fine so they may break the handles are also thin. I how that they last a long time. One nice thing is the belt sheath can be worn equally well on the right and left side.
Jan 10, 2015

I have been throwing knives for years and have many types and styles of all ranges of price and quality. These stack up against some of my higher end blades very well. For the price hard to go wrong. They fly nice and are holding up very well. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good thrower at a reasonable price.
Dec 17, 2014

I'm giving these five stars because they're exactly as described and function well. These work very well for practicing a no-spin throw. And although throwing knives generally should have a sharp tip and duller edges (to keep from destroying your other knife wraps when throwing multiples) since these are from a movie where hand to hand fighting is also used, it makes sense for the longer, sharpened edges rather than the standard Kunai. The sheath is quite good and works well in use strapped to the leg. For those obsessed with 'sharp out of the box' these will please (although I must admit I'm sick of reading that, if you can't sharpen your knives, you shouldn't own them. Sharp out of the box just means that the supplier had a machine/process that could sharpen them - not that they could hold an edge or take one after time).
Sep 10, 2014

These are the Best feeling and throwing Knives I have, and I have a lot. // Right out of the package today ( 9/10/2014 ) first throw, ONE tumble throw at 25 feet, right into the Target. I'm just an average or slightly better than average thrower, these are a must have for a new beginner, or an advanced thrower also. // I didn't buy them to SHAVE with, I got them to THROW, and they are very sharp on the tip. Once you get these, you will most likely order more soon, and park your other knives except for your 14" throwers. -------rp

Aug 09, 2014

Awesome throwing knives! The leg strap holds the sheath on your leg very well along with a sturdy belt loop. Only a few small problems, but the good thing is that they can be fixed easily.
Jul 09, 2014

I have thrown many different knifes. These have to be the best throwing knifes ever.!
May 21, 2014

These are the best knifes ever. I am a big expandibals fan so I bought these knifes to use for karate . They work perfectly I would totally recommend these to a friend
May 11, 2014

Just a little handle heavy for a damn good rotation. Strong and very durable. Cord wrapping nice and tight (adding super glue to help last longer recommended). Tip and edges razor sharp (I mean literally razor sharp). Buy it. It is well worth it. The sheath works great and holds to the leg well.
May 07, 2014

These are some of the best throwing blades.I practice everyday a they stay sharp
Jan 12, 2014

Got these knives a long time ago and forgot to write a review. These knives are razor sharp, pretty light, have a good balance, and are pretty good throwers. The only thing I am not happy with was not getting them earlier. They are one of my favorite items and I HIGHLY recommend to get them, you won't be disappointed.
Jan 03, 2014

So what's not to love. It's a good auger/chopper/scrapper and you won't hurt anything by using the hilt as a hammer. It's a good combat dagger that would not look out of place stuck into the belt of a Greek hoplite or medieval man at arms or Celtic warrior. As a thrower it has the drawback that its handle is anything but ergonomic. So you'll have to get creative with your grips and releases. The upshot is that has a long learning curve and probibly isn't a beginner's weapon. But who cares! They look good and throw good. I have suffered no losses from breakage in well over 10k throws. I plan to hurl them another 10k.
Dec 26, 2013

These are awesome. Words cannot express it. They are huge, combat ready, and incredibly versatile. Out of all the throwing knives I have, these are the best ones. Highly recommend.
Dec 16, 2013

Okay first impression on this piece. They are freaking huge! Like HUGE huge! One knife easily takes up the length of my forearm. And the weight is pretty good as well. I haven't had the chance yet to throw them because of the size but I can tell that with the right technique that they can get the job done. Overall this is a very good product. I give this a solid 5.
Nov 13, 2013

These are great knives i have have thrown them alot even thought i had them for one whole day. For the price on these knives is just outstanding it is in my budget these knives are very cool.
Oct 10, 2013

Extremely awesome, extremely sharp, totally slashed through 3 slabs of sheet rock, also went through with a stab. For defense, maybe, offense, H**L YEAH
Sep 15, 2013

these knives are truly great. the cord comes off after just a few uses. the blades themselves are wonderful. they are made out of a sting piece of metal and the tips dont break or bend. blades are also razor sharp i wouldn't recommend throwing form blade. the sheath is kinda cheap and leg strap will break but other than that they are living up to the expectation.
Aug 08, 2013

I purchased two sets one for myself and one for my son Matthew. The knives were used as soon as they arrived. They performed excellently. The balance and rotation of the knives were accurate. They were extremely sharp, razor sharp to be exact. The knives were so sharp they could shave hair on my arm. Matthew has not thrown many knives yet with instruction could repeatedly hit a 2 foot target that was 27 feet away. The knives were very impressive for their weight and the size (12"). The price was worth it for the set. Matthew also liked that they were the same as those in the movie Expendables.
Jul 25, 2013

I'm a huge fan of Jason Statham and The Expendables movies so I had to by these. After reading some of the reviews and seeing them in my hand I'm not sure if I even want to throw them. These blades are 12" in Ol so that makes them pretty bad defense weapon. Mine came very shrap as well.
Jul 20, 2013

I bought a set about two years ago, and they immediately became my favorite knives. And they still are. They made of some good steel, and will last a long time. It was only last weekend though (after many hours of throwing), that the tip of one of the knives broke off. And the wrapping around the handles started unwinding after a couple weeks or so after I received them. I could have maybe super glued the wrapping so it wouldn't come off, but I took it off myself. They are well-balanced, and come razor-sharp. I'm about to order another set so I can double my blades!
Jun 27, 2013

As a reseller of BUDK products, I have been very satisfied with everything that I have ordered from them. The Expendables Kunai set however has been very successful seller for me @ $50.00 per set. The customers that buy these set have returned stating that they really enjoy the set, and more than one have bought additional sets, either for themselves or for friends. I highly recommend these Kunai, as well as many other throwing knife sets available from BUDK.
May 25, 2013

I have had a lot of so called throwers in My Life But by far These r the best i have ever Had...I tell Everyone about these throwing Knives and Brag about how Great they Are.
May 16, 2013

Exceeded my expectations. I wanted them more as collectibles than for throwing, and I couldn't be more pleased with the knives. Balanced,sharp,eye-pleasing,and fun to hold and show-off. BUDK always delivers a quality product which is why I remain a long and loyal customer.
Apr 24, 2013

Theses knives are not for beginners, it might be difficult to throw from the handle at first but you will get used to it pretty fast. these things are SHARP! i cut myself twice just by gliding them of my finger on accident. if you know what you are doing they throw easily and stick nicely. they make a cool sound when thrown because of the ring on the bottom. i would reccomend these to any good thrower. the tips might bend a little but its easy to fix
Feb 13, 2013

Nice balance, solid knives. Will take some abuse..These are my favorite throwing knives!!!!!
Feb 01, 2013

Second best set of knives ive ever had with the best price too. I hav owned many sets of knives but these are some of the best quality ive ever received. Definately a must have for collectors and throwers.
Jan 03, 2013

These Are Very Nice Knives ! I Love The Movie Also An That's One Of The Reasons I Bout This Item , One Of The Best Decisions I Made Every On Buying Throwing Knives These Are Very Accurate . But Like Many People Said , After Throwing It A lot They Break In Half , But Over All Best Throwing Knives I Ever Had ! 10/10 !
Dec 27, 2012

so got these yesterday i gotta tell you the blades are fantastic!! the ring is really big which does make the throw i little hard at first but a quick hand adjustment and yer good to go also i can tell you this with absolute authority that thest blades part flesh like a hot knife through warm butter (it sliped from the sheath when i bent over and got my foot through my shoe) 7 stiches later im limping but very satisfied! 5 outa 5
Dec 26, 2012

these are very great throwing knives and came very sharp from the box. very great knives to have and are good survival knives. i use these on hunting trips if i need them to cut and chop thing.
Nov 23, 2012

Excellent quality! great balance! and for less than $30 alot better than I expected! Edges are pretty sharp which is a tad bit unusual for kunai, but its not like thats a bad thing! plus with their size, the edge is really useful. Anyone whos considering buying these should just do it!
Oct 09, 2012

I'm a non paid professsional thrower, And In my 13 years throwing knives Iv gone through alot of knifes , several types weights, and sizes. So when I came accross these Knives and being a big fan of the movie I thought to my self ( weel it wont hurt to try them out) So I purchesed them and was amazed at the perfect weight and sharpness they were, so I took em out threw them! "9 out of 10 on first try , Iv got 2 sets since last year and My only complaint is that the sheath breaks down faster then Id like, but all the knives are in perfect condition except 1 broken tip and that was after a year.
Sep 21, 2012

I have been looking for a nice heavy set of throwing knives for an affordable price. So I read the reviews on this set and finally decided to buy them. I'm VERY glad I did. They came in an officially licensed "Expendables" box with some cool artwork on it. And each Kunai came wrapped not only in plastic shrink-wrap, but each individual blade was covered in a thick protective plastic as well. They were very nicely wrapped. The sheath is nice, very thick, and sturdy compared to some of the sheaths that come with other cheaper throwing knives. The leg strap on the sheath is a nice touch that will ensure that the sheath attaches well and doesn't flop around while on your belt. The hilt area of the blades come etched with a very nice "THE EXPENDABLES KUNAI" lettering as well as the United Cutlery logo and a serial number. The twine/wrapping is quite thick and durable, but you may have to re-wrap and superglue them to keep them from moving around or coming undone, which is not difficult to do. The double edge of each blade comes very sharp and it is thick, not like a razor sharp, but definitely very sharp. Enough to easily cut you without much pressure or effort. All throwers with sharp tips are a little sensitive, but the tips can be very easily fixed if bent. They are balanced perfectly for throwing, and believe it or not they are very easy to throw accurately with a no-spin technique when you put the handle in your palm with your index/middle fingers running parallel against the flat part of the blade. Throwing them with 1, 2, and 3 spin-techniques is very enjoyable. You will spend hours throwing these and having fun. They are heavy, almost reaching 1 pound each. So they can be thrown for long distance throws very effectively. Remember to use with caution as they are heavy and quite sharp enough to cause damage to anything that they hit. Buy these beauties! Not only are they great for display but they ARE "battle ready" and very functional for REAL knife throwing!
Aug 14, 2012

I just got in the mail the 3 set expendable s kunai throwers. I had bought some about almost about a year ago and they never bent. I train hard with them ..the only thing that ever happened was. The first day the twine for a handle fell off and after a lot of abuse the tips broke about half inch.. but just reshaped them. NOW the cool thing is these new ones I just got are made alittle heavier alittle thicker and that cause I believe just like mine had all the earlier kunai tips would snap but these look and feel way to strong for that. Have fun!
Jul 15, 2012

Jul 08, 2012

got mine for father's day they seem perfect to me as long as i don't throw them into any hardwood because i throw hard and i know i will bend the tip, but they are not pratice knives they are actual weapons used to kill....so only when the time comes that is when i will use them like that but not now.....they are a great buy and i am very pleased with them and i will buy again.......and i want to connect with my trueswords family...you know make friends like me......so just hit me up fam at [e-mail address removed]

Jun 05, 2012

Got mine a week ago and they have taken serious abuse. Have hit concrete many times after miss throws. They are still sharp and the tips are still in good shape. Highly recommend these.
May 24, 2012

Apr 24, 2012

These are amazing I was so excited when I got these today. I haven't had much time to use them but they look amazing. I loved the movie and hoped someone would produce such a bada** kunai set thanks United Cutlery and Budk keep up the great work.
Mar 23, 2012

Very Very amazing knives! I got them about 3 days ago and have just started to really get the jist of these knives. I would not suggest these for any beginner knife throwers. The circles on the ends of the knives if you are throwing them from that end will make the knife twist in the air and mess up the direction. You NEED to throw these knives by the blades. Overall these are AWESOME knives and would suggest them to anybody into knife throwing! I am 100% pleased with my purchase!
Feb 25, 2012

wonderful blades, as sharp as a blade should be, and wonderfully balanced i look forward to throwing these
Jan 06, 2012

These knifes are sooo awesome they are my best buy so far. The knifes are sharp right out of the box. Most of the time you have to sharpen them but these are already sharp enough. The sheath is great but if you are not careful they will make a hole in them. If I was you and you were looking at these knifes I would buy them now. 5 out of 5 rating great knifes.
Dec 24, 2011

These knives are razor sharp and very durable, but the tip is sensitive so don't throw at a angle when throwing at a target could snap the tip, happen to me but it was below 30 degrees, so cold could be a factor, and the handle grip does come of very easy but I think its so you cant wrap a different way that fits your grip preferences like the strider wrap, great knives for the price and the performance.
Dec 22, 2011

Expendables Kunai 3 Piece Thrower Set in 1 word amazing. At first I didn't snare to get them because it cost a little, but man are they were well worth the money. Sharp good weight and fun to throw stick every time.
Dec 20, 2011

Just recently received my knives and I was amazed at the quality of them, the balance is perfect and I went and just threw one of them and it stuck an inch into my wall and I didn't even have to throw hardly at all.
Dec 05, 2011

Sheath is nice. Straps on the sheath could be thicker but still excellent.<br /><br />The knives themselves are great! Exactly what I expected. Sides just needed to be sharpened, but other than that, they're excellent.
Nov 30, 2011

Nov 08, 2011

I have to agree with other reviews on the grips on these knives. 30 mins. of throwing, and I already have one of the grips coming off. Although this is not a major problem. The old re-wrap and melt the ends with the lighter trick; seems to be doing alright for now. As far as knife quality: excellent edges, very sharp right out of the box. Good weight & balance. Overall a good buy and would buy these knives again!!
Nov 03, 2011

Lets go through this in points. 1: The sheath and leg strap are junk. The strap fell off ten minutes after I put it on. Point 2: The grip on the handle feels nice but it came off after the seventh throw. Point 3: The blade and how the knife flies and sticks is incredible, it's low priced and incredibly accurate, great tip, the blade got chipped, but that was because I, on accident tried to robin hood my other knife. I would recommend this to a fellow knife thrower. P.S. Perfect for a beginner as well.
Oct 23, 2011

Over all very nice. Throw extremley well. Only down side is they are thin so they do bend. But u can bend back into shape. Large but light weight for there size. Very satisfied overall. Good job true swords.
Oct 05, 2011

I freaking love these Kunai knives. They're nicely weighted, and hit hard when thrown at a target. I have no doubt that I could seriously hurt or kill someone if I were to hit them, so you have to be very careful. Awesome Kunai knives overall.
Sep 19, 2011

So I bought 2 sets, one for training the other for worst case scenario (combat). Using hard targets and putting on the heat, trying to master the high speed destruction, it got banged up, slightly bent, but being stainless steel it can easily be fixed and resharpened, I love the versatility, true ninja style, the sheath was cut to ribbons when I put the blades back in. I prefer the old school back when humans were strong not a bunch of little girls who quickly run for a gun. GO WITH BUDK AND GO OLD SCHOOL BE A TRUE WARRIOR!
Sep 14, 2011

Great knives, heavier than I expected but they are huge. Don't expect to twirl these around your fingers like toys, as soon as you hold one you know its a deadly weapon. Can't wait to start throwing them
Sep 09, 2011

Sep 07, 2011

Just got them today, very happy withe my buy, altho 1 of the straps were broken on 1 of my sheaths (bought 2 sets) it didnt diminish anything. The kunai are perfect, came very sharp, didnt see any nicks or anything on the edges. If your a fan of The Expendables, and of kunai these are a excellent buy.
Sep 05, 2011

I love these. I've been throwing them the past 3 months and they are very easy to get used to. I cat stick these at distanced approaching 25 ft... consistently. As far as the cord falling off, that isn't a big deal...the cord wrap isn't very "grippy" so I bought the wrap for a baseball bat and used that instead. Now they are much more comfortable to hold.
Aug 26, 2011

I ordered these as my first throwers. First off, great shipping! It arrived in about three days. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, and don't have experience with any other knives to reference with, but to my untrained eye, these knives are excellent! They are a very nice weight and they hit very hard. The weight behind them is enough to drive the handle through cardboard. They come decently sharp, but I haven't had time to test their true sharpness potential yet. Very smooth and natural feeling to throw. The only issue, as stated below, is that the cord comes off the handle very quickly. After about a half hour of use, the cord is coming off of one and completely off the other. Luckily, I have plenty of paracord. I haven't had a problem with the sheath like other people yet, but I'm getting a specialized one anyways. All in all, I love these knives! They seem like real man stoppers thrown or in close combat.
Aug 14, 2011

i started throwing not too long ago, and had tried various other styles of knife, until finding that the kunai has to be my favorites. And when it comes down to kunais, for the price, these are a true bang for your buck. Right out of the case the weight was noticeable and i could tell they were prepared to do damage. When placing my finger in the exact center of the knife (around where blade meets cord wrapping) i noticed they were perfectly balanced, and very very easy to throw, and judge spin. I've thrown them overhand, underhand, and with no spin at all multiple times and have been nothing but satisfied. also, as a damage test, I allowed these to ricochet off onto pavement (landing point down plenty of times) and they have only lost their point a very minuscule, unnoticeable amount. Truly worth all 30$ and I highly recommend them.
Jun 13, 2011

as a thrower..this thing is awesome i always try to back united products there's a couple things they make that's .. but every one makes lemons at times. ok..the kunai..its a multi use weapon..not just a thrower so this thing is way too sharp to be that but if you know what your doing this is a beautiful pattern..hint..make the handle little thicker..think trowel/spade type weapon guys..
May 12, 2011

Just got these as a gift from my cousin in N.J. Wow, just like Jason Strathams in the movie! Really sharp. Can' figure out the sheath strap yet. But it works well just tucked in the back of my belt. Easy to reach and fire off three quick blades. Are knives quicker than bullets as Jason says? Stalone almost agree! See the movie , its awesome! FYI, add a red tassel or string to each ring! I almost lost one in the leaves while throwing! Now I just look for the red string, and easily find a stray knife. Thanks BUDK for so much fun!
May 10, 2011

Just got to see this set and throw them. My cousin in N.J. has them. Wow! Awesome! I see why they were used by Lee Christmas in the movie. Really sticks in deep. BUT, attach a red florescent string to each handle ring. If you practice outdoors. The black knife color is hard to find if you miss your target or it rickoshays off the target! Just FYI! Now they are easy to find in the grass and leaves! Enjoy!
Apr 12, 2011

i'm genuinely speechless. right out of the box their ready for action. only concern: bad wrapping but such easy fix. i recommend nylon cord (flexible) and krazy glue. seriously rewrap it in nylon and fill in the spots with krazy glue. the two substances have a chemical reaction that forms strong durable plastic like substance. i don't know works for me. these are massive knives. perfectly balanced and can't stress that enough. the sheaths are incredible to say the least. for 30 bucks? i bought 2 sets and love them every day. very secure wearing them as well. BEST BUY ON BUDK in my opinion. another fantastic job budk. you never disappoint me.
Mar 19, 2011

Truly sweet! Over the years I've collected the odd movie reproduction knife or sword, and the Hibben/Stallone relationship has made them my favorites. These are faithful to the knives used by Jason Stratham in the movie, to the point that it's hard to set them up for display instead of taking them out for throwing. Thank you BudK, United cutlery and for another valued
awsome knives ive been throwing them since i got them :)...totally worth it im thinkin about buying another set and make it an even 6...but im alot better at thrwoing by the blade then the handle

I was just messing around on my first throw of these. I just threw as hard as i could just to mess around. To my surprise this thing stuck a full inch into my tree. And i wasnt even trying. From about 10 feet i find it incredibly easy to stick, even when throwing very hard. The sheath seems pretty durable but not really sure how i am gonna wear it. The point is very sharp but the actual blade was not so much. So it was a quick and easy sharpen. The cord wrapping actually came off after about 20 minutes of throwing with these. This is the only reall flaw i have. The material is rather thin and if you miss a couple throws it frays easilly. I rewraped it with paracord and it works even better. and it is a little more comfortable when gripping. These are great little (big) knives. especially for the price. I really am surrised at the quality of these things and just how easy they are to stick.

These are some of the best throwing knives I've seen. They are well balanced, sharp, and are a great size. The sheath isn't the best quality and the leg strap feels like it will break if you use it but overall it's a good deal for the price.

I bough this set about a week ago, I havent had too much chance to throw(bloody rain) but just in the 100 or so throws I did get i noticed the cord wrapping the handle of one of the knives came loose and started to unravel. Also the pommel seems really raw with the super sharp edges so releasing the knife was a bit different than I'm used to. Other than that I love this set and I might buy another.

I personaly i luv these knives took a lil long to ship but thats alright<br />And the edge wuz way too sharp throwing knives are not supposed to be sharp i really hate when people say my throwing knife isnt sharp or is very dull its supposed to be dull dumbass....... well anyways they throw just fine from half spin and handle. Oh and you will start to see bending occuring if u throw alot or hits the concreate so there u go....... Ps. If u want a sharp knife get a bowie or a combat knife. Weel there u go have a good day.

Great knives, nice weight durable blade. Stuck it into a cinderblock on accident. The cord came off quick.

All i can say is that these knives are super sharp and stick into a surface such as wood very well! The only problem with these knives is that the grip (rope on handle) comes off very easily! That is mainly the only problem though. Great product!

I got these knives a couple weeks ago and was impressed with the durability of the knives the reason I didn't give it five stars is because the blade on one knife was cut to short and uneven But the other two were perfect. The paint is suprizingly scratch resistant. Overall great knife for the price , I would recommend these to anyone

Came straight out of the box fairly sharp with only a few rough edges that got taken care of with a file. Handle wrap is unfortunately very flimsy and would definitely benefit being set to the handle with some form of adhesive. The weight is extremely hefty and very well balanced. Once the rotation is second nature, these knives will nail a target with ease. There's enough weight behind it to sink it in quite well without having to hurl it. Traditional knife throwers who are accustomed to throwing from the handle might find these a bit tricky but those with a bit more experience should have no trouble finding their grip and release.

If you throw a knife by the handle and not the blade I don't recommend these, I throw by the blade, half spin and it's in, their nice and sharp, decent sheath but the little Velcro part this is supposed to keep them in the sheath is pretty cheesy, should have made it a snap and thicker material. Oh, and don't bother buying the "knive throwing targets" on BudK, they fall apart after 2 hits, just use plywood or 2 x 12's.

Probably the best weight to balance ratio of any of my throwers. I mostly throw Hibbens and Bokers. And have both an indoor and outdoor throwing ranges, my indoor range is 25 feet and I use slightly aged pine log slices (5 inch thick and kept a little moist). Christmas evening I was up till 2am enjoying my new knives. Awesome! Pros:Excellent Balance and weight. Best starter distances I found were at 12 and 20feet (easy rotation). Cons: Soft metal, tips may tend to Get Bent, recommend using softer targets. I also usually throw in tight groups and found that the knives are so sharp and the metal a little soft that I took out a nice 1/4 inch chunk out of the blade LOL. I always keep a bastard file and diamond sharpener in my throwing kit anyway. I also personally prefer throwers with not quite so sharp a tip, but these ARE fun and they do throw very well. And so I do believe I will be buying at least one more set. Have Fun :)

First of all these knifes are very good.I trained hard with them and the are very accurate.Within a week i was able to put all 3 touching each other from 20 yards.BUT after 6 months of throwing about 40 a day one of them broke in half.one very good thing is that they have the best sheath that i have found yet.I will buy again

I got these knives today, my first purchase from this site i might add...<br /><br />Hm where to start...<br /><br /> theres some flaws With the knives i got. The spine of the blades were not centerd to the tip they were slightly offset by about a cm.<br /><br />The blades felt a little cheap when held most likely because im used to my heavy thick sog knives. <br /><br />The straps easily come off. I did a few test throws about 15ft away like 3 throws on 1 knife. An it was already wanting to come off. <br /><br />The knife is way to thin and light for the size <br /><br />The knife set is also easily bent. Which is a issue because im a hard thrower.<br /><br /> The hole in the knife is a little on the large side so when thrown by the handle it catches your hand and kicks it. <br /><br />Lets go through the positive aspects shall we?<br /><br />I threw from both handle and tip during my test. The knife was fairly accurate and stuck very well. <br /><br />The knife is large which i like. <br /><br />The cord feels nices even though it wont last at all. <br /><br />The knives came pretty sharp (too sharp in my opinion throwing knives are desined to b dull)<br /><br />The knives make noise when going through the air. I like it some people may find it annoying.<br /><br />The pouch i feel could have been better and made more sturdy. But it does the job and looks like the real deal.<br /><br />Based Off the movie expendables which is a very good movie i think.<br /><br />All in all decent knives im happy with them.

Love these knives. I bought these the same time I bought an 18'' dagger from another site, and honestly, I spend twice the time with these. The knives look and feel great, just enough weight to make them feel like a real knife as well as a throwing knife. My only complaint is the sheath, I'd rather have three separate sheathes for each knife but it's easy to get your own. So overall, great knives! Also, decently sharp on their own, but easy to sharpen further.

Over all very nice set of knives. Hold edge very well. The cords seem to be holding up after lots of throws. Only down side do to the weight of the knife it is difficult to throw well holding the blade.

Alright. So before i bought this crossbow, I did a TON of research on it to make sure i was spending my money on something that was actually going to work and not break within the first couple times using it. I eventually decided to sack up and just buy it. And it was quite possibly the best decision I've ever made. This crossbow is incredibly accurate, very sturdy and durable, shoots extremely hard, and superbly priced. As some of the other reviews said, make sure to tighten all of the screws before putting on the bowstring. The bowstring itself was a bit of a hassel to put on, but with two people, we got it on pretty quickly. The bowstring that comes with the crossbow has so far been quite durable and has withstood the 150 odd shots i have fired off so far. It does seem to be fraying a bit, mainly because of misfires. *Make sure to line up your bolt almost to the precipice of the bowstring nock as to prevent your arrow from misfiring*. My target is made up of six, six ft. tall plywood fence slats(approx.

the kunai itself are amazing had to tighten the string though. but durable sheath isnt true the day i got them the belt clip tore off and the leg strap plus the tip started to go thru the bottom of the sheath very disappointed in that but if you dont count the sheaf its a 5 out of 5 but since the sheaf sucks ass 4 out of 5

I bought these throwers mainly because of the movie and their size. These are my first throwers in the 12" size. They throw pretty good except that I personally feel that the hoop on the end gets in the way for a smooth release. My biggest complaint is that the tips were so thin that they broke easily. I broke the tips on 2 of the 3 after less than a month. I have since quit throwing them. I am an experienced thrower and do not abuse my knives. I know I got what I paid for but I have bought other knives in this price range from this site that held up much better.

This is my second set of throwing knives. When I got them, they were a lot bigger than I expected! The leg sheath works great, and it's a good thing it's adjustable because i'm a larger person. The circular ring on the handles are unique and make it easy to draw the knives from the sheath, however, the weight of the handle out-weighs the blade! -This is to say that when thrown, as gravity starts to take effect, the handle is most often what strikes the target/ground rather than the blade! Now obviously, no one wants to get struck by a piece of metal flying through the air, it's just that the whole concept is that you want the blade to hit your target, not the handle! I have tried different throwing techniques with these knives just to make sure the end-result did in-fact turn out the same... All in all, it's a decent product but I would not buy these knives as your first set of throwers! Thanks _Adam

The knives looked great when I got them, but I found out that they were not as awesome as I had hoped. To start off, the sheath works great. The blades on the other hand.... The wraps on the handles started coming off in the first three throws I did with them. Then the wraps came off all three, had to re-wrap them. The tip actually broke off of one of them and, upon further scrutinizing, I found that that knife was made slightly different. I also found that the ridge line was off to one side instead of down the middle of the blade making the tips weak. They throw really well, but I feel I may have wasted my money.
They are great knives stick every time if you know how to throw them, only problems I've had is that the strap to your leg on the sheath just fell off and the cord wrapping just comes off too.

These knives aren't that well made. The grip begins to comes off after the first few throws. The blades chip quite easily, and the tips of the knives bend. The only good qualities that I can say is that they look and feel great. But if you wanted to get them because you want to throw them. Then I say get the 20 dollar kunai instead of these.

Very well made...if you aren't planing on throwing them. Used them for about an hour all together, and the grip is unraveling, and a few chunks of metal have been chipped away. The only redeeming quality of these knives is that they look good! If you are looking for an every day thrower...keep looking!
