Nifty sword

"I received this sword as a mystery scratch and dent. I doubt I would have chosen it, but I am quite pleased with it overall. It is a nifty little sword, and I have no doubt it can take some punishment. As other reviews have noted, the handle is not the best, but it's not too bad either considering it's just leather wrapped around the tang. It wouldn't be fair consider the blemishes as a negative in this review, as I bought it as a scratch and dent, but I will mention that it came dull. Had I paid full price, I think that would have disappointed me."

"Packaging & Presentation was Good Fit & Polish was Good Yes, this spring steel short sword is amazing. It is a great beginner sword for getting aquatinted to spring steel. This short sword is heavy and feels like it can deliver a beating and take the harsh climate of chopping, thrashing, and sword fighting! This is a great chopping sword perfect for the outdoor adventurer, camper, or any person on a working ranch. Good purchase. Good for short sword training, and great for all of your chopping tasks."

nice, except for...

"Good looking short sword, full tang, nice leather sheath.,,,,, But no grip wood in the handle, just a wrap makes for a weak grip. Some wood inserts pegged in under the wrapping on the handle would make it complete,,,,,,Too bad they had to make such a critical cut back here."
