Awesome spear! Hefty, solid, sharp at a great price!

This thing is amazing so well built and was sharp right out of the box. The only thing I have issues with is calling it a spear to me more akin to a Naganata

This is one solid piece. Works well as a spear but due to the interesting design of the blade it is also a good chopping/slashing weapon. Well-made, good materials, holds an edge, performs well, looks badass. A cautionary note though: This thing is heavy, and if you lack good upper-body strength don't get this as your go-to weapon - let it be a wall hanger and get a shortsword.

Love the spear. It surpassed my expectations. Solid construction for a great price. It reminds me of the african zulu spear the iklwa. Has the same construction only that the blade is shaped like a flat wide leaf. I highly recommend it to any weapons enthusiast.

?? this is a must have to reach out and touch faces when need be remember this isn't a spear meant for throwing and the blade is meant to bend but so strong it will retake shape if you work it. If your putting together survival gear or stealth gear or both this is a must have I put all weapons through Extreme tests this past the test for this weapon the wraps need replaced I sowed leather to the handle top bottom and middle.If you see Nioh on a review trust it I make sure that a weapon is ready for war of it can't take it I'll let you know. The heat treatment seems to be just as good as the other Forged Warrior blades i have. I am really liking this company. One draw back is that the weapon is UNECESSARILY heavy. It is just long enough to be a two handed weapon and the weight seems to encourage it. Two pieces of steel sandwich the tang just as wood or micarta do for swords and knives. Replacing these would give you less weight and added material to work with if you have a shop. In materials alone, a great value. Zero complaints about the wrap or the blade itself. As the previous reviewer stated, the sheath for the blade cannot be secured but it is well built. I prefer the wrap on this one and the Forged Warrior Jungle long knife over the one on the 2 machetes with suade wrap

The Zombie Tools Reaper is 6 inches longer and 12 ounces heavier. However, the Reaper runs $584. Do the math. This is a much better deal for a similar style weapon. It is a two handed weapon. It is sharp. One drawback is the wrapping. Mine came with one end loose. The epoxy or glue was not sticky enough. I fixed it with duct tape. In fact, I put duct tape at both ends just in case. The sheath is okay but could be better. There is no snap or anything to keep it on. I do recommend this over Zombie Tools as you are getting good steel at a better price.
