flawless. light for it huge size. very sharp and the finger grips , my finger just melt into them. the gaining on the wood of the handle is just magnificent. this is a must have worth twice the price. no disappointments to be fond here.

I got this for Christmas from my wonderful wife. This knife is absolutely beautiful much nicer than the picture dictates. Fit and finish is near perfect and I could not be more pleased. I own a number of Hibben knives and am proud to honor Gil with owning this knife.

I never order just ONE piece at a time from BUDK, but I broke that rule for this knife. I was not dissatisfied. The overall knife is absolutely beautiful. It's also nearly perfectly balanced, easy to index, and a genuine joy to wield. As for sharpness, at one point I placed the included plastic tip guard back on the blade, and accidentally cut it in half WITHOUT realising it'd been cut. Jim Bowie is probably whistling in appreciation from beyond the grave.

Very nice knife, capable of doing everything a knife is expected to do, and looks damn fine doing it. Cuts onions, cleans game, cleans your finger nails.... Gives the dog a fine haircut, and can still destroy inanimate objects with great precision. Lovely, lovely... and came with a nice wall mountable plaque and the pieces to make it work. Over all, a functional piece of Art, that's piece of Art as in sculpture, not as in a piece of a guy named Art... but that could happen too. Hang it, Salute it. Carry on.

Thank you BUDK & KENNESAW for choosing me in your march giveaway! This thing is huge my wife thought it was a sword when she first saw the box. No I said just our biggest bowie we own. Really nice with gold fittings, beautiful woodgrain handle, and big ass 12 inch blade. Nice display plaque as well! All in all, a really nice bowie which I would recommend along every other Gil Hibben I have had the pleasure to own. Never met a Hibben I did not like. Michael James Fox

awesome, beautiful work of art everything about this bowie from the pommel to the tip of the blade is just fantastic am a collector of bowies not a user but im sure if you want to take it into the boonies it will do everything that you ask of it but why would anyone want to. its a collectors show piece one of em anyway.... I was testing its strength. Super durable, I cut medium sized branches with no problem! Beautiful knife as well. Keep up the good work budk!
