"The Hibben Expendables bowie is a masterpiece. The issue with a tight sheath is easily solved by pushing a pool cue into the sheath down to the clip point and leaving it in for a day or so. This the best knife in my collection."

"I've been buying from BUDK for ages. I thought I had the best of the best with my Rambo III Bowie. But this Bowie is the most Magnificent BEST QUALITY LARGEST one I have ever seen or owned.! It is 19 3/4" overall HUGE, came with a RAZOR SHARP Blade, super HIGH POLISHED almost like chrome finish, with detail you'd expect to find in a 300.00 to 400.00 knife. The Leather quality used for the Scabbard is very nice.! You can not find anything to say bad about or criticize about this Bowie. For the price I'm going to buy another one just to collect so I can carry and show off this one.! -- BUY IT WHILE YOU CAN. !! Thanks again BUDK !"

This Knife is Massive but Breaks Easily
"This is the first expensive and nice knife that I bough. I have only taken it hiking once and didn't even pull it out of the sheath (which started falling apart within the first week). I was willing to look past that however I just tried to some wood and the gold plating along the back of the blade came off. It's a very impressive knife so I don't know if mine was a defective one or if they are like this. For 100 dollars I expected more. Especially with the names attached to this item."

"I received my bowie the other day and I must say, Im impressed. There is nothing that can compare to the size of this knife. It feels well made and the plastic handle feels solid, not lie hollow plastic. It is very shiny and came with a decent edge on it. The sheath seems good quality but is very tight at first. After leaving the knife in it for a day or two it will loosen up though. The image on the handle has not worn off for me yet and Ive been carrying it and handling it quite a bit. My only complaints are that my knife arrived with several scratches on the blade and guard and the sheath is very tight and has no snap. Overall, I cant complain about this beast."
