Our arrowheads are contemporary and handmade from agate and jasper that is more than 1,000 years old. Agate is a microcrystalline variety of quartz, characterized by its fine grain and brilliant color. Although agates may be found in various kinds of rock, they are classically associated with volcanism but can be common in certain metamorphic rocks, as well. One arrowhead per bag. Colors may vary. Approximately 7" overall.

Beautiful hand knapped Agate!!

"I bought this badass 9" Agate stone blade to make into a knife, after refining and shaping the tang I set it in deer antler and wrapped it in leather and used an epoxy resin to seal everything... Came out great! Already bought another one to start working on, new one if full of reds and clear crystal pockets... The tip of the blade has a corkscrew action to it and if used on anything organic would be impossible to stitch or close the wound as it twists the further in it goes... Super impressed!!"
