"The knife is built OK, but the finger hole( above the blade and handle) are not trimmed flush enough for the index finger to fit comfortably, actually it will leave blisters on the inside and out of your finger! Very uncomfortable. But the blade touch up sharpens on a strop pretty sharp."
"Decided to get one for the kitchen after loosing or dulling many knives & when it came i was excited but after using it to cut everything from carrots to 2" thick T-bone steaks like hot butter, it was a "GAME CHANGER"! Takes a little getting used to with the long blade under your fingers but in no time I was cutting like a PRO!"
"I wrote a accurate review here, but it did not post. I'll keep it brief this time. It's good for food prep, but if you are looking for a Hibben collectable you may be disappointed with this one. The average kitchen knife has more attention to detail. The craftsman buried the buffing wheel so deeply into the handle while attempting to polish the rivets that they bellied out the spaces between each rivet. They pushed so hard in fact that the handle is worn out uneven on each side."
"I just received this amazing knife today. I've already purchased a few Hibben Knives over the years. So, I knew the quality was gonna be there. Before I found this one, I had just bought a nice Ulu that was double the price of this one. I took it back before purchasing the Hibben Ulu. A wise decision on my part I must say. More than worth the money on this one. Very Satisfied!"
"This is the best ulu knife. I own two standard ulu's, but the easy grip handle is such a great feature, as I can control it much better! It is made with great quality, the sheath is a plus, but the knife is the gem ! I recommend it HIGHLY to anyone who loves to cook ."
"I received this legacy ulu and found it to be of high quality. I have not had an opportunity to use it yet, however, I believe it will do the job I bought it for. Cutting up veggies, pizza, slicing meats. I believe it will be good for shinning deer or elk. Snowball"
"Wow! I love this knife. A great addition to my kitchen, I do the cooking in our house and love a sharp knife. I also have a leather craft hobby and am recommending it to all my fellow leather crafters as a remarkable tool for cutting leather as well. Going to buy an extra just to use in my leather shop. "Safe handling with the design of this tool,,,, My wife has little hands as she works larger knives which slip around. The design of the blade directly under her grip has great control as she works. "i was debating on buying thinking it was to thin for what in need it boy was i wrong the price was worth it also i got it to cut leather with it didn't take long to put a good sharp edge on it it keeps it don't need to keep resharpening it heave made as well great great ulu thank you for a great product Terry McL"
