"The length and weight are excellent, lending well to a single- or two-handed grip. My only complaint, owning two of them, is that the scabbard does not fit the sword well. . . it's difficult to remove the first time being drawn and never completely fits inside on later sheathings. . . there's always a gap when sheathed. I noticed this on both of my swords. . . I have to assume they all have this problem."

"I ordered this sword for a friend, and needless to say we were astounded by the quality and rugged design of this sword. There was nothing disappointing about this blade as (though it is a heavy sword), all the weight was seemingly lost in the balance of the sword’s design. It was also a great sword for the price, and I do appreciate BudK for offering the most reasonable prices in comparison to other sellers. I would definitely recommend this sword to anyone looking to het into HEMA, or looking for a good no nonsense sword."
