(D2) Another Beautiful offering from Honshu
"This makes the 4th Honshu blade that I've purchased, and I doubt that it will be the last; Honshu can't seem to make a bad weapon. The D2 Quillion Dagger is everything that you would expect, and everything that you'd hope for as well. It's a beautiful blade, and arrived in a true "battle-ready" state of sharpness. Some blades are sharpened before they are sold, but not truly sharp. This dagger is a pleasant change from that typical standard, and arrived sharp enough to easily cut paper. The ergonomics are excellent. The weight and balance of the blade is very comfortable and maneuverable. The D2 model has a slightly longer unsharpened base of the blade above the guard where the D2 logo is stamped, which makes for a safe and comfortable place to wrap a finger around if appropriate. The sheath is leather and looks very nice, but is not extremely durable which is common among these types of knives. It will probably need to be replaced after extended use or exposure to the elements, but it is perfectly adequate until then. This makes an excellent mate for my Honshu Longsword, I'm super satisfied to have the set."
