Perfect for your Zombie collection
First thought when I took it out of the package was it was to light and it doesn't feel like it's true full tang. But it is great size knife well balanced and sharp out of the box. Just handing the knife to a friend I grazed the blade with less force then a butterfly and didn't even notice that I cut 2 fingers . Overall I'm glad I bought it seems like a battle ready blade but time will tell. Bring on the Zombies

Gorgeous Dagger
This is an awesome dagger. Durable, well-built, and relatively sharp. This is the first Honshu product I have bought and it was definitely worth the purchase. If you are a medieval enthusiast or just like to collect knives, this is a great addition to the collection. I cannot wait to see a midnight forge edition of this dagger.

Great blade
Very nice dagger, I absolutely love it. Well made and mine came in very sharp. It is a great addition to my collection. It looks great next to my Honshu broadsword. My only problem is that now my midnight edition broadsword looks so lonely hanging there all my its lonesome. I would love to see a midnight edition of this dagger to accompany the midnight broadsword.

Great blade
This is a well made dagger. I absolutely love it, it's a great addition to my collection. It looks great hanging next to my Honshu broad sword. However, my midnight edition broad sword looks a little lonely hanging there all by it's lonesome. Would definitely like to see a midnight edition of this great dagger.

Bad A$$ Tool
This thing is such a mini beast, that in a matter of seconds I was able to reduce a six foot by 3foot cardboard box to a pile of scrap. BAD A$$! and razor sharp.

Not to shabby
Just got a pair of these yesterday. Overall not a bad blade for the money. Machine marks were visible on the bevels of the blade, but not really detracting from the appearance unless you were expecting a Hi polish. The marks were more noticeable in the fuller.
The ridge lines at the front of the blade were off just a tad and did not line up perfectly with the tip indicating that the bevel grinds were off a bit. Not a show stopper, merely an irritant. The fullers had this same issue, just a little off.
The cross guard is massive and well done both in fit and finish. The same can be said of the pommeral. The nut that holds the grip assembly together stick up a bit, but not ugly proud. The grips are solid and comfortable.
The blade was sharp enough to cut paper but the cut was a little ragged. Cuts on Coke bottles were also a little jagged. The blade needs a little work in the sharpening area.
The scabbard is heavy duty, well made and way better than expected.
For an 80 buck blade, I consider this to be a steal. Yes there are some imperfections, but better machining is going to cost you more money and in all honesty will not improve functionality much. Perfection costs bucks
!
My only real complaint is that Honshu does not show a picture of the tang with the grips removed in their advertising. COME ON GUYS include a pickture so folks know what their getting. I have this urge to take it apart just to see. But I don't want to blow the 100% guarantee...I guess I will just use it and see how it holds up.
Bottom line...worth every penny (so far). I am going to give only 4 stars due to the alignment issues...I am picky...is is still a worthy buy (so far)!!!

Beautiful piece of art
Upon opening my new dagger I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of this dagger. So nice that I ordered a second one.by far the nicest pieces in my collection. The pictures don't do it justice and you'll be more than satisfied

Beautiful piece of art
This dagger looked interesting so I ordered one for my collection. When I received it and opened it I was blown away at the beauty and craftsmanship of this dagger. Within 2 minutes I said to myself I want another one of these so I ordered one more. The pictures of this in the catalog do not do it justice and I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed

BUY ONE
This is a large, beautiful, dagger that is well balanced and sharp with a comfortable and secure grip. It would be more convenient to carry to historical events than a sword and would serve hog hunters perfectly. It will arrive at your door before you go back to the order to check the arrival date.

Good price.
Good price for a 1060 dagger. The average price is roughly 140.00. I snatched mine up as soon as they arrived at Bud K. It is a good looking dagger. Worth the price.

I like it, but.
The blade is long and sharp and the dagger on the whole is a beauty. But the balance is too low on the blade and is centered on the hilt stead of the lower portion of the blade, this causes wobble and discomfort swinging and stabbing with this weapon. It feels like it's trying to escape your hand when its used, if the weight was a little more blade heavy it would be perfect. The handle feels like it's supposed to be on a bastard sword, a two tier handle like this feels odd in one hand, which is odd considering this is a dagger. It feels like I'm squeezing a lump in the middle of my palm, I'd be happier with a solid smooth bit of anything rather than this. These two problems result in a weapon that feels awkward to use for me and I can't say I'm satisfied.
