Expensive paper weight
"I own 6 Honshu weapons now and live them all including this ax that couldn't cut a piece of toast. It looks great it arrived fast but I want looking for a dull AF wall hanger I wanted the razor Sharp ax that was advertised. Now I still gave it 3 stars bc it's well built and very beautiful and I can bring the edge where it needs to be."

Honshu Karito Battle Axe (Awesome!)
"Where to begin... Well I suppose that first of all I'll say that I'm extremely satisfied with this weapon. This is not the first Honshu blade that I've ordered, and certainly won't be the last. It is built to look like an older historical battle axe, but with modern flare. Almost like Kratos' battle axe from the new GOW games. The blade arrived very sharp, not paper-slicing sharp, but still enough that I need to be careful when swinging it around. An accident with this blade could be very unfortunate indeed. The handle is intuitively built, and the curve of the bottom half creates a kukri-like effect with the blade which can greatly increase the cleaving power of the axe when used on softer substances. There are multiple comfortable grip points on the handle which accommodate all of the "standard" hand positions, but don't interfere with creativity and adaptation. The axe-head design clearly had some thought put into it. The curve of the lower blade stands far enough away from the handle to allow for easy and worry free sliding of the hand up and down the shaft into any position with no contact to yourself. The handle can be twisted back and forth with your hands placed anywhere on the handle without the blade coming into contact with them or your wrists. The blade needs to be held almost completely backwards in order for contact with the lower forearms to happen. To conclude, this axe is a beautifully and thoughtfully constructed weapon. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to expand their battle-ready blade collection, zombie apocalypse weapon connoisseur, or anyone else looking for a REAL battle axe. I would not however recommend this as a camp axe, though it is capable of chopping wood, this axe was designed for use against...other types of substances than wood. Thank you again Budk. "Nioh here again black belt weapon except an I have to say I was waiting for this one NO DISAPPOINTMENT. Your opponent better wear their dark brown pants an strap their boots on tight. This weapon is none stop no wall wood or metal has even really done anything to this monster. You may not have believed in monsters all your life but get this in your hands an it makes you a believer. Your enemies will think your the thing that has made them afraid of the dark when they see you with this weapon in hand. This axe won’t just get you through hell an back now it will do round trips all year long. You want a blade to last a lifetime shop budk an Honshu will get you through!"

He becomes your father an all those of a dojo are family your brothers and sisters. When I test a weapon it’s so I know I can trust it will be a tool my family can use to defend themselves an not fail them or you or me I test each weapon rigorously so I can tell everyone weather it’s a weapon you can depend on for self defense or not.
