Impressively overbuilt.

"Honshu very rarely seems to disappoint, and this purchase was no exception. It says you can use a broom handle as a shaft but this unit is capable of accepting shafts up to 1 1/8 thick, so think more like HEAVY tool handle! The socket is nice and thick so there will be no bending and yes, the lance point is slim, but its hollow ground triangular cross section will absolutely penetrate plate armor as long as it is applied properly to the task. It is not sharpened but keen edges are really unnecessary. Think of a rondel dagger on a pole, just stick 'em with the pointy end. a few strokes with a file at the very tip and it won't let you down. I'm hoping Honshu adds even more spears to its line. Not like those press formed sheet steel ones other companies offer, but fully socketed beasts with burly blades and breathtakingly honed edges! Only gets a five star review because Bud-K doesn't allow me to add six."
