Honshu Midnight forged broadsword

"Excellent, couldn't be happier with this product, well just a little. The only thing that I could possibly complain about is that the handle was a bit loose. That's it , never disappointed by Honshu. Prices can be a bit high for the average working man but it is what it is. It would be nice if they could come down on the price of the Claymore I would buy it in a hurry. Happy customer"

Really nice

"I found all aspects lovely in the sword I received, spare I thought that the maker's mark could have been more subtle. Right about where one would engrave their last name on the blade is the maker's mark on one side, and I dont know why that needed to be so large. Could've been down near the crossguard and far more tiny. Feels lovely and historically accurate in the hands regardless, has a rather imposing length on the blade and the void black color is mystical and mysterious. I think I can feel history and my ancestry come alive in a more grounded sense than mere historical text when I hold this blade. I'll try to remember to go find an engraving machine locally and get her engraved with twisty/spiral/floral vinework down the length of the blade one of these aeons"

Still Light enough to Hold even thought it is 2-Handed

"Seems Like it could be used practically for certain things."

cosmetic issues

"Its really a fantastic sword, came quite sharp but the matte black finish is blotchy and uneven. Lighter and darker in some areas of the blade. I also had to take it apart and put it back together with some loctite cuz the hilt and pommel were misaligned."

Great buy

"This sword is well built and ready to go out of the box. It's sharp and well ballanced. It's lightweight, flexible and very easy to work with. If you do not have one of these in your collecrion, you should add one to it... Once again Bud K, you have supplied a great product!!!!!"

Amazing sword, decent sheath

"I love the blade and I just received in but it’s a solid sword, full tang for those wondering, sharpened, and it made quick work of a watermelon. However the top part of the sheath broke a minute after I opened the box however it wasn’t hard to glue back on and now it’s perfectly fine. Love the sword and it might have only been mine"

Blew me away!!!

"In all honesty I had high hopes from this sword but once I opened the box and pulled this beast out I fell in love. Instantly became my favorite sword out of my collection. Not only is a beautiful piece to look at but the cuts and slashes it makes is just spectacular!!! You will not regret this purchase and I know I won’t regret buying this sword again! Why have 1 when you can have 2 haha."

My 1st Broadsword

"First off, love this and only have one nit-pick: that being the handle is shorter than what I'm used to. As the headline states, this is my first broadsword, so I don't have another to compare it to. I do have more than a few katana, and a larger anime sword that weights 8lbs., so this sword feels light to me. As a broadsword, even after reading the product's description, I assumed it would easily feel heavier than the 38-39in. katana I have beside it in the pictures I've added, but it's nearly indistinguishable. It has a decent edge. The sheath (which is also awesome) holds the sword tight enough without needing any excessive strength to draw it out. Love the guard and the handle has an amazing grip. For possible future buyers, and so you have a scale to compare yourselves with: I'm 5'8, 154-160lbs. I'd like to have more broadswords for the sake of reccommendation's feedback just so it would feel more viable, but all in all, if you do want to buy this sword, I'd encourage you to. Thank you, BUDK. I've had my eyes on this for a long time and was glad you had it in stock."
