"Not a bad value, not great either. One of the five items included was a trainer. One large, excellent quality sword. One decent stainless short sword/large dagger. One better than average folder, one mid-range carambit, and the trainer. The bigger stuff was the better stuff."
"To start this off I’m not super satisfied. I won’t say exactly what I received but one item was a plastic practice sword. Not a huge problem overall seeing as I got the value they claimed even with that plastic piece. But this “item” being listed under the swords category is a little misleading. I thought I would be getting mostly swords. Right? No, I received one sword, one dagger, and two pocket knives. All in all I did get value out of this but if I had known, I probably wouldn’t have purchased this box."
"I have quite a few Honshu blades, so when I ordered the mystery box I was worried I'll get some of the pieces I already own. I was pleasantly surprised that all 5 pieces I got were new to my collection, they were quality pieces and look great. Along the same theme in some reviews, one of the pieces I received was a training sword, but I was ok with that. I calculated the total price of the pieces and it came to a total of $470 if bought individually from the website, and I paid only $335 (before shipping and taxes), a $135 saving. If you don't mind not knowing what you are going to get then this product is totally worthwhile the money, especially with Honshu's good quality products being inside the box."

"I'm going to start by saying, yes 1 of the items is a practice sword. That wasn't a problem for me because I plan to give it to my grandson. Even if you remove the plastic piece you still get more than you pay for. In fact I went through the online catalog and priced everything I received out and got $200 more than I paid. And that's just base prices without tax or shipping costs applied. As far as the pieces I received none of them are items I would have bought but I was really pleased with everything I got which says alot about the Honshu line. Every piece feels good in the hand and the classic mixed with tactical look is great. No matter what you get in the box it's going to be worth more than what you paid."
"So this set is good. Its really good. The only problem is one of the items isn't a real item, but a "model" of a real item. Which would make sense if you also got that item but didn't want to play with it in the house. But you don't get it. What you do get is 4 really good honshu items in each size from small to big. But it wouldn't be budk if they didn't well, you know, a little bit, so there's the 5th item. I would have easily given 5 stars for 5 items. But 4 stars from me is the best I've ever given. Im happy with this. Im not giving you a picture cus ha l f the fun is the surprise. Check out my YouTube channel if you really want to ruin the surprise. PunktymeFoxy is the name and that's me."
"Despite my four star rating, I think this box is a great deal. I got an item I was debating on buying anyway, and a couple things I was pleasantly surprised by that I would have never purchased otherwise. The only reason for the missing star is I got a practice sword. Although after re-reading the add, it doesn't actually say all five items will be weapons, it does imply it. I don't think a practice sword is a weapon. The other four items still came to almost a 600 dollar value, so I can't complain too much."
