"I bought this blade about two years ago--mostly as a display item, at least at first. As I'm a bit of a couch-potato, I decided to use this as a device to exercise with. Something a bit different from the gym. I found the blade to be a bit awkward at first, but as I got used to it, I found I enjoyed myself immensely. It's sharp, and seems to hold an edge very well, at least most of the sharpening is merely honing it. All in all? I've enjoyed it, and I'm in a bit better shape, now...so a very positive purchase. 5/5."

"It is a little heavier than I expected, but not overly heavy. The weight lends to a heavier strike though. I'm used to a sword, so the Naginata takes some getting used to, but with some practice it will be easy to wield."
