"Sturdy simulator that takes a beating and isn't overweight at all. Nimble in the hand with adequate grip for my large hand, can wear a leather glove easily with it. As with most synthetic trainers, it's slippery in the bind but that's unavoidable. It looks good and can be used against other synthetics and shields with proper leather edging (not steel). The trade off for the durability I suppose is that it's fairly stiff and has just a tiny amount of flex, which means a thrust will hurt badly unless it's pulled. You'll have to wear some hard protection, like a good fencing mask and gauntlets/vaumbraces as again, like other training weapons, this will cause pain, bruises and potential damage. Use wisely and this is a great viking sword trainer."
"Love it but no sword expert it's not what I expected it's thick a littel but I love it. I had to give this to my nephew for a graduation gift but hope to get another one and three more I really like to have theyse items are most definitely worth the price thank you to all who have created this website and your company for what you're all doing SKAL! 🍻"
"Unfortunately, being a Viking re-enactor, Over the years, I have bought many polypropylene swords trying to find one closes to being a Viking sword. So when I saw this sword, I had to have one. then I had to get two more. I was going to write a review, but Glaucus O said everything I would have said. For strength, it is a bit blade heavy, but as he said, it will build arm strength that will make going to live steel easier."
