"I usually get carried away every time I order from BUD K'. Especially when I look at all of the beautiful Kissing Crane knives. The Pocket Farmer is the one I bought this time and I wasn't disappointed. It is kind of plain looking in the picture, but sometimes plain makes a statement. This knife is a statement in craftsmanship and plain beauty. The wood is quality. The blade is sharp and strong. Overall it feels well balanced and is comfortable to hold. Another great bargain and a very happy customer."

Good kitchen knife

"I got this knife about 5 years ago on BUDK for about 7 dollars. It compares similar to my 30 dollar Case Sodbuster and my 19 dollar Italian Antonini pocket farmer in performance. The steel is 440 A with a similar performance to the other two. I would say the craftsmanship is similar too. They all have there ups and downs in different categories. The only minor down which may have been corrected by now, is that the back spring hits the middle of the blade just barely causing it to ding the middle of the edge. After sharpening it for a while it is starting to correct itself though. All in all it is an easy to sharpen blade and the craftsmanship otherwise is good. It's a good Chinese budget knife. Glad I got it when it was dirt cheap."

"Craftsmanship of the knife is top notch. The composite handle is better done than my 30 dollar CASE sodbuster (Better blade alignment too). The 440 stainless edge retention is decent; not quite as good as the CASE Sodbuster's Tru-sharp stainless steel. Everything considered I like it just as much as my CASE, and it gets the job done."

"I just now received this and I am MORE than pleased with it! It's beautiful, almost to beautiful to use, but I'm gonna use it so I can show it off. Solid little pocket knife, nice thickness to the blade and handle, easy and comfortable to grip. Perfect size and weight, not too big or heavy for your pocket. Extremely well made and sturdy feel to it, no blade wobble, nice and snug. I'm sure this knife is going perform and serve me well. 5 stars all the way!!"
