I got this one in the orange; sharp and well made. Very light, easy carry knife. After purchasing this I’d try another Kissing Crane knife. Good value

Great Knife Reviewed by on Jul 03, 2018   5 out of 5

This is a great knife at a great price. I've had and carried mine over a year and it's been perfect for everyday use. Would recommend.

I bought this exact same knife but in the orange case. I am very satisfied with it and knew it did not have a locking blade when I ordered it. That's okay with me. It is intended for just a light-duty carry pocket-knife. For that purpose it fits the bill just fine and price is great.

I like it! Reviewed by on Nov 02, 2016   5 out of 5

I bought a few of the sod busters to see how they lined up next to the Case sod buster I got for $32.00. I was impressed. I can use these at work without worrying about losing them. (I'm a trucker.) Very good quality.

"Buy American!" WHY? Reviewed by GERALD FARIS on Oct 23, 2016   4 out of 5

I recently took delivery of this blade. It is of excellent quality and sharp, for now, and for what it is, it is. It even comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" that states that it is an actual Kissing Crane knife, the product of 175 years of quality German craftsmanship. On the base of the stainless-steel blade is a stamp: "Kissing Crane"; on the reverse there is another stamp that reads "Made in China". Great knife, but the fact remains: Germany and China are not even geographical "Kissing Cousins". What has this country come to? It will not surprise me anymore to find that even the new Harley Davidsons are produced in China. God Bless/Save America. Lord Sesshoumaru - ???

Surprisingly high quality Chinese knife Reviewed by Alva Couch on Aug 20, 2016   5 out of 5

Very pleased with this knife. Bought three to have one in each car and one in the pocket. On all three, the blade clicks into place well, the knife is extremely sharp, and it's built to last. Legal carry everywhere I go, including Boston and NYC. Highly recommended EDC gear.

Quality control? Reviewed by Jeff on Mar 04, 2015   4 out of 5

It came with a small chip out of one of the scales, on back, next to the liner. What the heck? Guess I'll know which one's mine. I like it other than that and a couple minor scratches.

I purchased one of these knives, and was very impressed with the quality I purchased two more because I felt that for the price they was were an excellent knife. They would make great gifts, and do a good job doing ranch work. They are made in China, but I am sure they are produced with high quality standards which they reflect beautifully. FIVE STARS!

Don't get me wrong - of the three Kissing Crane knives I've purchased, this is the best one, but it's still a Chinese made pocketknife. It's perfectly functional for skinning an apple or cutting thin rope, but the blade doesn't even lock. It's a good knife for kicking around, and if you lose it, you only be out $8, but I'm not sure what kind of guy would be "proud" to own, or collect, a relatively cheap Chinese folding pocketknife. That said, it's a perfectly functional pocketknife - you get what you paid for and that's OK too.
