At first I found the cane a little heavy, but after a few weeks of practice every thing seemed to balance out. The handle is a great with good balance and as a walking aid this cane is great. It a fine tool to have.

I love this cane! I wish it was a couple inches longer to be more comfortable. (Yes I am quite tall.) It handles the everyday stresses well and the blade is a good blade. Very sharp tip!!!

I bought this for my bro-in-law who actually walks with a cane. This was within a half inch of the height of his normal boring walking stick so for his birthday I surprised him with this. He was stoked with the design and attention to detail that the sword portion has and fortunately for him being 280 lbs, the cane sheath can support what load he puts on it to walk. He has had it for a few weeks now and loves it.

Snug fit...just needs a bit of polishing from residue from the inside of the can part other than that theres no clanging from normal cane usage

Have this cane for about almost 2 years and i love it is nice and sturdy has a nice weight to it and amazing blade. I actually use this cane for everday use because of injury which i have to use for the rest of my life but with everday use sometimes the cane drops or if i limp a little more then usual the handle actually came off revealing the tang screw underneath. I think if a pin is placed on the bottom of the handle it would solve this issue. So in conclusion if you want this cane i highly recommend it but make sure you keep extra a proxy at home if you use it on a daily basis

This cane is just sweet! When i pulled it out of the box, you could just tell that it was made with quality in mind. Good weight, locks up tight and scary sharp out of the box! Totally recommend

I ordered the cane after I was able to start walking after hip surgery. This cane not only is beautiful , but the handle itself can be used as a short range impact weapon that can collect DNA. The blade is as sharp as they said it would be and the tip is just as sharp as they said and showed in the video. The sword when deployed and and swung is well balanced. The heavy handle assists with the momentum on the forward swing. When you order this practice with drawing the blade and returning it to its shaft. Start slowly, then increase your speed. Think of different scenarios and how you would deploy this lethal weapon. If not you will jack yourself up. Then practice lunges, swings, back swings and reverse thrusts. Research sword strikes, and sword fighting. This cane has a slight rattle when used as a cane. But not that bad. Highly recommend this

I received this today and it is an awesome piece of hardware. The handle is absolutely perfectly fit to my hand, the button is easy to use and the sword is beautifully weighted. It is the perfect height to lean on. It is beautifully crafted overall.... I am planning on buying the other 2 sword canes in this collection as soon as I am able to.

I just got it in today, and Ive gotta say I love it. there is a little bit of a rattle to it but nothing that major. Ive read some reviews about it not working as an actual cane. I honestly think that this DOES work as an actual can so long as you dont have too much weight put on it. I think body weight would be a factor, however, Im 160 and have no issues with it. again I love it its a beautiful blade\cane.

Read reviews before I bought this cane sword. So I knew the sword was going to rattle in the case .using American ingenuity it was an easy fix. I knew the handle was going to be heavy which is perfect because you can use that as a weapon to. The blade is sharp so I give this product 5 stars. Planning on buying the cold steel one next the prices are very good on this site

This cane is everything I had hoped for. It's a thing of beauty to the naked eye. When released, the blade length and hilt are perfect for a trained Escrimador, such as myself. Mine initially had a bit of a rattle to it when sheathed but after a small number of practice releases of the blade that has disappeared. A rapier blade is primarily used for thrusting but I will shortly sharpen the edge so it is razor sharp. I've read that the cane's shaft can be shortened and I will look into doing that so it's the perfect fit for my height. I've also read one review that the cane might not be capable of supporting the full weight of the user. I do have a slight limp and know that some canes are rated for as little as 180lbs., while the standard is for 250lbs. I do not see this as a problem since, buck naked, I weigh in at a fit 148. But you should keep that in mind.

Recently purchased this particular cane sword and am very pleased with the overall design, quality & durability of the product. I purchased a 'Tanto' previously & can assuredly say I'll be making future Budk purchases & referrals. This product is excellent for covert practicality!

My wife surprised me with this as an anniversary gift. The best gift I have gotten from her in the 18 years we've married. Blade is very sharp, and even with the weight of the handle, I was surprised how well it handles. Once you get practicing with the sword you don't even notice the weight of the handle. The smoothness and fluidity of the way the blade just cuts through the air was......very impressive. hope to be able to buy more in the future. A must have to look stylin, as well as an effective weapon. I recommend it to all sword enthusists as well the novice. GREAT ITEM....

My lovely wife ordered this sword for me for my birthday. The handle fits well in my hand and the cane length is perfect. The weight is nice and it is very versatile. All in all, an amazing weapon and support for my bad knee.

I love my new cane, it is a little heavy as some say, but the handle weight balances out the blade like a well tuned knife. It comes sharp right out of the box. Bad guys tend to target older folks, especially those who are crippled, like me. I have decided to stop being a target and become a decoy. If they must go after the elderly & weak, let it be me so I can give them a learning moment. In the mean while I love the looks and feel of the handle of this cane sword and I take it everywhere with me.

This is an awesome Sword cane. It's hefty and strong enough to use as a functional walking cane, and I'm a big guy. It feels solid, unlike many sword canes. Many people complain about rattling of sword canes, but this one seems tight when you're walking with it. The detail in the handle is very nice. It's solid, and very heavy, giving it a feel of a strong, well made weapon. If the blade didn't work, you could use the handle as a club. It feels nice in your hand, thanks to the ergonomic contour. The sword grip is leather wrapped over stingray skin. Nice touch. The blade lock works smoothly. The blade itself is nicely worked and was sharp enough right out of the box to slice a piece of paper cleanly in two. I placed a rubber foot on this cane to give it better grip while walking. I highly recommend the Axios by Kit Rae.

Product came in two days, excellent shipping speed on behalf of TS. It arrived in excellent shape with just a little bit of excess oil on the blade part of the cane, and the edges not very sharp, something I had foreseen since this is mainly a stabbing weapon (easily fixable with a couple passes from your whetstone.) The blades sheath and cane shaft looks excellent and doesn't have a mark on it, over all I'd recommend this product to anyone who want's a functioning sword cane that looks amazing and can be sharpened very easily. Definitely coming back to Trueswords for more.

Very good quality. Solid, sharp, the weigh is impressive, quality wood shaft. I haven't figured out how to stop the rattle when walking on hard surfaces, but not too bad. Sword canes have been around for along time but for the quality at this price. I love the concealment.

I just got my Sword Cane, and I have to say, I am impressed. The fine details on the blade and handle blew me away. There was only one thing I found wrong with it: the part that connects the blade to the sheath was not glued on very well. Now whether this was a fault on Kit Rae's part or mishandling from UPS (which I hear UPS is notorious for), I cannot say. However, a quick re-gluing made it an easy fix. If I could rate this 4.5 stars, I would because it was not that big of an issue. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a concealed weapon for self-defense or enjoys collecting unique swords.

The cane is sturdy, nicely balanced and functional. I would have rated it as five stars, except for the fact that mine does rattle somewhat. The catch works fine. The length of the cane was too long, but it was easy to shorten by 1.5 inches while still using the rubber tip. All things considered, I am pleased with the purchase and the service and quick delivery by BudK.

This cane is Very good looking& stylish, with solid, well designed blade & heavy, artistic handle with great self defense qualities. Shaft a little lite & may not stand up to constant use. I use this for church & dining, lol. Great value from TS again. Quick ship as always. TS best in value & service.

Beautiful to look at, but as others have commented, top heavy - rendering the balance point a little too close to the handle. No rattle experienced here, but the release mechanism is *not* functional!!! I'm curious to hear how the previous reviewer was able to bend the catch to get it to take. I've opened it once out the box and now cannot get it to lock despite tweaking. It would seem it needs bending away from the blade, but this doesn't seem to remedy the situation...

This Sword Cane is of good quality and well made, my only complaint would be that it is a little top heavy.

I'm Very Happy With This Sword Cane. The Blade Is Sharp And Long. The Locking Mechanism IS Natural And Smooth. The Blade SlideS smoothly In And Out Of CaNe. The Handle IsBeautiful And Feels ErgonomiC. My Only Criticism Is The Handle Is Quite Heavy Compared To The Rest Of The Blade And Cane And Makes It Feel Unbalanced. Otherwise Great Piece

My first Kit Rae piece and I'm not overly impressed (especially for the $) nor am I underwhelmed. Blade is not razor sharp nor dull. Construction is not solid nor is it flimsy but I would not trust it to support my entire weight of 170#. Mine does not rattle as 1 reviewer stated. I did have to bend the catch slightly so it would actually catch and not just fall out of the scabbard as it did out of the box.

It's an amazing sword, love the quality of the handle and blade. But the latch is very loose. Blade slips out easily while walking without pressing release. Other than that great craftsmanship

My wife bought it for me last year since I have a bad back and let so she spent extra to make sure I could use it, well the blade is shape and great but the shaft it slides into is not wood like they say and the blade rattles in the shaft..... It is not made for a walking cane was pretty upset.

I bought this cane in Feb 2015 and it worked really great. Now here on April 22 2015 the handle came off and the sword fell out. The handle screw was made onto the end of the blade and it broke. I would have thought for $120.00 it would have been designed better. If you just want a nice sword cane but don't really need to walk with it, it's still a great cane. The metal blade isn't weak or flimsy, but it won't hold up under use as a cane for a person who really needs to walk with one.
