"This was sharp out of the box but not super sharp. The tip was super sharp coming out of the box. The blade & handle are a sheer delight of craftsmanship & quality. That said, when you have this knife near you it , you will feel protected to the fullest. It opens from the farthest point on the handle using the cutouts on the blade with smooth as butter ease!!. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"
