"On August 13 2015 my home in Denham Springs, La flooded after raining close to 40 inches in 2 days. I had 2 of these MTM ammo crates sitting in the bottom of my closet loaded with ammo. My home took on 40” of water and we lost everything with the exception of my ammo! After sitting underwater for 2 days not a DROP of water entered the crate. These crates are awesome and I just ordered 2 more for important papers and hand guns."

"I bought a couple of these with the idea of filling them with some basic survival gear and tossing them in the trunk of the car. The large square design but low profile make them perfect for the trunk. They easily hold enough stuff to keep you going for a few days.
