"Prettiest sword in my collection so far, the folded steel and gunome style hamon have me staring at it for longer than I feel like admitting. These are actually kobuse laminated as well which makes them a real bargain. Can't wait to try it on some tatami mats I've got soaking"
"This is truly a five-star blade, easily worth twice the price or more. Cuts are clean and precise, and mine has performed against targets not recommended for the grade of steel, cutting easily through 1.5 and 2 inch bamboo. If you're in the market for a bargain, grab this one while it's still available!"

"We have been training on sword arts in our martial arts class. As I was looking for an entry level sword that would allow me to practice cutting in class at a reasonable price, I found this to be a good choice. Aesthetics: Beautiful construction, solid fittings and tightly assembled. True hamon can be seen. The finish on the scabbard is impecable. An excellent addition as a display piece. (5 of 5) Blade: It is sharpened and like any other sword, it demands caution when handling. (5 of 5) Performance: In class, our instruction did a demo with his sword on bamboo. I tried my first cut on the same type of bamboo, in class. I didn't cut the material the first time. After the second strike it did slice it cleanly. However, the sword was dented. I didn't expect this to happen from a folded steel sword. I can be sharpened back to form. Feels balanced and comfortable when handling. (3 of 5) Overall: A good entry level sword for cutting "practice" if you are trully training in the arts. However, for serious performance cutting or competition, I would recommend a higher quality blade (and more training). Excellent as a display item."
