Dull, dull, dull.
"I was really excited when this item was first announced and I made it a point to pre-order it to make sure I would be able to get it here in California before you stopped shipping them here (which you now have. ) At any rate the weapon itself is sturdy, it works well for Escrima although the weight does take a little adjusting too. My real problem with this item is the blade. While is seems strong and well make, it is duller than an old butter knife. I can literally grab the blade in my fist and pull it through with no injury at all. A s a stabbing weapon it is quite effective, but for cutting, not even close. Even if the problem is corrected at some point, because of your shipping restrictions I won't be able to get a replacement and, to be honest I've never had much luck sharpening things myself, never seem to be able to get a decent edge, let alone one useful for fighting (yeah I end up replacing a LOT of knives because of that). I Would hope that in the future this issue will be co9rrected, if it has not been already. If the edge had been sharp at all I would have given the weapon a better rating."
