Professional Stainless Steel Chain Whip

this chain whip is awesome i had to buy two of them i like this product because of the design and it is unique and i got to say it is money well spent i'am very happy with my purchase.

This was a birthday present that I had been wanting. I was pretty stoked when I saw it, and even happier when I played with it a bit. My first thought was it's like a set of numchuks, you can hurt yourself if you're not careful. But I'm careful, so no worries there. This chain whip is is challenging and fun!

This product is well made only have had 2 weeks but getting used to the weight and manuvering around, I wish it was anywhere from another foot or 2 but again great product and detail. Love stainless steel design

I am very pleased with the way it is, the only thing is the blades are not sharp, they have to be ground down and sharpen by hand, it's a little hard for each individual section and one of my pieces were stuck, would not Bend but everybody is impressed even though I !! amazing piece

As a master of the whip form I couldn't wait to use this and competition for forms. I have won every exhibition and competition I have taken this to. beware this is deadly in skilled hands, and even deadlier in unskilled hands.

I was able to finish my takeda cosplay fro mortal kombat x and it looks great and the blades are sharp i love it.

I bought this a long time ago but it has held up very well. It's surprisingly flexible and has stood up against some really tough targets. It didn't come sharpened and sharpening it was a little annoying considering that I needed to sharpen each blade, but over all, amazing for the price

Quick shipping, not sharp out of box but I like that fact, get it the way I want it. Has a nice weight and feels good in my hands. I mainly got this for my collection. it is an attention getter.

my uncle has it he always is slicing cardboard and watermelons with is he cleans and and makes sure it stays sharp

Used it on cardboards, first time. Handles different from a leather whip. You must be careful when snapping it back. I hang the plate on the side of my muzzle loading rifle case. It gets everyone's attention.

I recieved this about a week ago, and I'm very pleased with it. Please remember though, that the edges of the blade are not sharped, because it is intended for decoration. It's a beautiful decoration piece, and you could probably sharpen it to make it deadiler.

This chain whip is great and it handles great, glad it didn't come sharp or i would be cut up learning how to use it! But non the less it is a great addition to my collection of weapons, and it looks great on my wall.....thanks BUDK!!

It was a real treat to pull this whip out of the box and see and feel this honkin' piece of danger. I don't think I'll sharpen it, I have no reason to. Without a doubt this is one of the baddest pieces I have ever owned!!!!! The pure destruction this piece is capable of is unlimited!!!!! Very well made and as all others above have stated, use caution when using this piece without wearing armor or you will get sliced open pretty bad!!!!! A true value for the buck and another must have!!!!!!!!

I received this as a present. It was not sharp so I sharpened the blades myself and started fooling with it. Now i have 13 stitches across my arm. So be careful with this one because if it is sharpened well enough it can tear through flesh like nothing...

I got this for my boyfriend and its just what he hoped it would be. A wicked looking chain whip that could tear up what ever you are whacking at. I don't know how practical it would be to sharpen the blades but that's probably not that big of a deal as I am sure its not a primary weapon. For the price for people into this kind of weapons its a cool piece.

Sick sword hope I never have to use it

When I first got this, I expected something that was very light and would probably crack around the sections. WOW was I wrong! This thing is purely insane, heavy duty to take any beating and controllable enough to hit what you want. The only thing that I didn't like was the way that the chain can move, only front and backwards not left to right either. But it's fine with a little practice, just be sure to wear some kind of protectant around the face and arms. The best move to use this beast with is to swing it over your shoulders and allow the chain to wrap around target, mine was a tree branch about an inch thick. Then pull as hard as you can, you literally separate the branch from the tree. I would recommend sharpening the blades when you really know how to use the whip, just be careful. Overall a very nice piece of equipment that takes time getting used to, I mean who really knows how to use one of these babies. I know I'm going to have fun this summer with this killer beast! FIVE STARS MAN!!!

GREAT piece, though I have to agree, not ONE of the blades on it are sharp, so sharpened a couple myself. Didn't hold an edge, but I'm not planning on actually USING it

This so reminds me of Ivy. A challenge to use, but I'm learning fast. I'm going to sharpen it as soon as I'm reasonably sure that I will not behead myself with it.

I was -VERY- pleased with this. It was much, much bigger than I was expecting. It has a lot more movement than I thought it would have. I thought it would only have a side to side range but it has a bit of an all over movement to it, but not so much that it's out of control. My only complaint is the ring on the handle for display was crooked so it makes display slightly awkward.

Sick and twisted... thats the only way to describe this item.<br />Though it would be beter if it had more movement than just side to side.

This is way awesome, the only flaw I can think of is at the base it does not pivot. so it kind of has to stay in a straight line. But it is still an amazing buy looks great on the wall

Whatever use you buy this for it dose it in exageration. The blades arent far enough apart, they wont scrape against one another but they do get kinked if you attempt to whip it not knowing how properly. Due to the flexibilty you cant really swing it in a full 360 degrees, you have to more so swing the handle. The blades are stiff which add strength but lose dexterity. Its a very durible deadly close range weapon because if you got the chains to wrap around someones neck even once and pull it would undoubtably kill them (tried it on a tree about the size as someones neck and it ripped the bark off all the way around with ease^^). I expected the blades to be a little thicker for display purposes but its a one of a kind so I must own it and master it.

Ok this is really awesome. It came in really fast first of all. Second the blades are much larger than I thought. Also this is the first sword I have bought and I love it. This is really an awesome item. I recommend to anyone who is looking to buy one.

First of all this whip is godmazing it looks extremely vicious but I dont know what the discription ment by "beware the eges are extremely sharp" becuse they are not sharp at all. <br />It is a lot lighter then i thought it was going to be it weighs about 2lbs but that dosent mean its not duriable becuse it feels very well-made.<br />The last this is that on the very last blade next to the handle it says<br /><br /> stainless steel<br /> handcrafted in china<br /><br />But the letters are so small you have to look very very close to see them.

This is a very wicked piece. i was quite impressed with this piece and its quality. Very stirdy, flexible concidering it's shape, and very light for its size. Good made quality of steel. Fits well in the hand. The handle is highly impressive for this perticular piece. All over a great quality for any collector or exotic weapons user. Also i good replica if you know i good artist that can make it look like Ivy's blade from soul calliber 2

Holy $H*T!!!!! This thing is so damned VICIOUS looking hanging on my wall... Handcrafted in China on the last blade near the handle, but no complaints at all, this whip is definitely a must have for anybody into fantasy weaponry... Not as heavy as I would've thought for being as long as it is. Great deal for the price too... First order from True Swords, will definitely be returning for future purchases, keep 'em coming guys!

This thing is scary. I love to practice with my swords, knives and other weapons. Not this whip, Yet. I need to figure out how to use it without doing damage to myself. I am convinced that once I do, this will be one serious weapon.

I just received my newest 'sharp and shiny' and I love it! It's wicked cool and compliments my collection of unique weapons. Not as sharp as stated, but that can be taken care of.

Solidly made, and still packs a punch without being sharpened. Makes for a great wall decoration, but kind of hard to use (the chain likes to get 'knotted up' when flicked).

Love it! just wish the blades would connect and become a sword.. that would be legendary! but still good as a wall piece :)

The shipping for this was great only 2 days. It's not razor sharp but it can definitely tear something up. It could be a little more fluid like a regular chain though. But I'm satisfied overall.

If you're looking for an interesting and unique piece to add to a collection, then you should absolutely buy this. If your first urge when you see this is to sharpen it and actually use it, DON'T. This will not hold together if actually used to hit things, and if sharpened you have an extremely high chance of hurting yourself.<br /><br />If you collect unusual or just plain cool weapons, then this is a must buy, but if you want to actually use it... well it was nice having two arms for as long as you have, right?

This sword is one of a kind, order it thursday at 6 am, got it saturday by 11 am, great shipping. Now the sword is not sharp at all, need to be oiled, handle is kind light weight, but still it s a sword to have comes with a wall plak and it is a nice art pice to have with other swords around it, seems sturdy enought to play with but becarefull........all around its a sword to have for any one who likes swords, it will stand out from the rest!!!

I love the look and feel of the whip, and is the most stunning object i have on display in my house. It's pretty fluid in motion but there are a couple of small problems, especially if you don't know how these ae used. NEVER swing the whip like a WHIP! it will angle on itself and you'll spend a few seconds trying to unhook the blades, these kind of weapons are meant to be swung like a katana, the cintripical force will lock the blades into th selected target, letting you pull back in a saw like fashion. My biggest problem with it, is that it was unsharpened. this blade is way too complicated for me to sharpen myself. I know these are intended for display purposes only, but it always impresses dinner guests if you take it out and test it on something. (the whip especially drives the ladies wild!)

I was satisfied with this weapon, although the blades are in no way sharp. And does not have the same quality as shown in the picture as far as medal goes.<br /> Another thing is that the first blade has "made in China" on it as well as a Chinese symbol, but they are small and are not easily seen. Also the chain holding the disks together seems a bit on the weak side and can curve out not just back and forth.<br /> All in all this whip is a good buy for show but definately not for use, but is satisfying if you are looking for a collection of weapons, or for mounting.

This is an incredible find I got mine 2 days after I order but this isnt as sharp as indicated in other reviewsbut it still looks amazing

bends a lot more then i thought but is def a wall piece and a wall piece only.

The shipping was ok i got it in around a week. None of the blades were sharp at all, completely unlike the description. There were a few sharp edges and, dont get me wrong its great to hang on your wall as a display, but "razor sharp" should not be in the description unless it is actually "Razor Sharp."
