rambo 3 stalone sig adition
The rambo 3 knife & the rambo first blood part 2 are the best quality knifes I've ever had in my hand super strong super tough the part 2 is 15&3/4" long from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. The rambo 3 is the same way very good quality it is 17" from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle they are pretty menacing i would not want to have someone pull these blades on me i would probably run the other way.

Rambo III Limited Stallone
The largest Gil Hibben Rambo rep. Ergonomic handle feels natural and 3 different grips. Add leather gloves out of this world control. It would be a shame if this fine tool ends up in a display case. Mine definitely won't. Thx Budk!

RAMBO 3
This blade commands respect! One of those "p**s your pants" knives... much bigger than the pic let's on, would hate to be on the receiving end of this monster. Thing is more machete than knife, and with its 1/4 inch thick blade wouldn't doubt it would stop some smaller caliber bullets! Great buy!Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate materials.

Not a Hibben
I jumped on this knife when it was finally released, touted as the only full sized model as used in the movie, Rambo III. The first thing that I noticed was that the handle did not have the ergonometric feel of the Gill Hibben 16" version (which I refer to as the original, by United Cutlery, made in China), but rather felt much like holding a 2"X4", with comparatively squared off edges. Later, of course, the 13" version, also by United Cutlery also appeared, and is an exceptional knife in its own right. I actually gave away my 16" Hibben edition, and my hand can definitely tell the difference. If you want to be a purist and have knives EXACTLY like the ones in the movies, this is for you, but if you intend to actually use it as well I have to suggest the 16" model by Gill Hibben. Only at Bud K are ALL of the models available and at prices that allow you to compare them, side by side. Thank you Bud K!!

Rambo Fan
I bought this because I have been a fan of all the Rambo movies and I found the authentic signature series being sold and the first (and Maybe) really only fully functional designed Rambo movie Knives. Solid built handle not hollow and no compass to bust pounding on the knife. Big Knife, Big handle and plenty of blade. only beef is it could have been made of better steal 420 only gets or holds so much edge. surgical or the Infamous Gibbon's AU6 steel would have put this thing over the top

Not impressed
Of all my BudK purchases, this knife had to have been the biggest letdown to me. It's not a bad knife, it's just more average than I expected compared to the much cheaper Timber Rattler bowies. The pommel, hilt, butt and blade did not line up very well, there are small overlaps around each piece. Though I liked the look of the grip/pommel design, I was disappointed to find out how small the space between the front of the pommel and the butt is because my fingers (admittedly large) were squeezed too tight between them when gripping the blade. I don't see any markings on it or the paperwork as to what type of steel it is, though I have seen it advertised elsewhere as 440 stainless. Thus it's not going to get too sharp, but then I probably won't break it either. I wasn't disappointed enough to return it, it's not a bad knife, I was just disappointed in the fit and finish for the price compared to the Timber Rattlers. The sheath is nice and it makes a great display knife, I just didn't feel like the knife itself was better than any of the much cheaper options on BudK.
