During the Civil War, the Union Army purchased almost 130,000 pieces of the M1861 percussion revolver, making it the most-used revolver in the conflict. Both Union and Confederate forces used the M1861 Army Revolver. This non-firing replica has the handling characteristics of the original, with functional lock and loading mechanisms.

I bought this as a gift for a friend, but of course I had to check it out. The gun looks great and has a genuine feel to it. I was very pleased with my purchase.

Fine replica of a .44 m1860 Army. Same weight and balance. Looks and feels like the real one. Action and loading lever work like the real gun. Wooden grips. A fine addition to my Civil War collection. And Bud K has the best price.
