Great knife Reviewed by Jason on Nov 04, 2014   4 out of 5

A great heavy duty knife that it VERY durable and the rubber handle keeps it from slipping. The firestarter is a VERY nice bonus and the compass could come in handy sometime as well, its great that they all fit in the pouch. I fixxed the snagging problem with a piece of gorilla tape down the inside of the sheath so thats no longer an issue. If the sheath had been leather i woulda given this knife 5 stars instead of 4.

A steal at $10 Reviewed by KH on Jul 19, 2014   5 out of 5

Great hefty very sharp large folder. Saw on back is no problem with the sheath if you try some gorilla tape covering the saw. Compass small but still useful even since I wear glasses. Sparker is an added bonus . Pocket big enough for a throw away lighter, sterling pocket knife sharpener and the compass. Glad I got four when I could. All in great shape with excellent delivery.

Compass and firestarter are junk Reviewed by Charles Mooney on Apr 09, 2014   3 out of 5

The Knife itself is great. The Compass and Firestarter are junk.

Good for survival Reviewed by Daniel Reisman on Mar 02, 2014   4 out of 5

Nice, strong, hefty knife. I ordered three--one didn't close too easily, one had a blade that wiggled a bit. The third was perfect. They could use cases that don't snag on the serrations. But overall, a good choice.

Much more knife than I expected Reviewed by George on Nov 02, 2013   5 out of 5

I ordered two of these knives for our emergency survival kits we carry on our belts wherever we go in the wilderness. They are Tactical Eye-wear bags filled with waterproof matches, fire starter, a survival blanket, some para chord, snare wire, fishing kit, and one of these knives. I expected the knives to be fairly sturdy, but they are truly a survival knife in a folder-frame! Larger than I expected but still not a huge knife--a good size that's just big enough to get the job done and still fold into a reasonable size to fit in your pack or bag. Good quality steel with a nice edge and a saw-back blade. Not something I would want to saw a lot of branches with but good enough to collect what you need for an emergency shelter. The blade is thick and sturdy enough to beat on the back of the blade for chopping through those difficult branches. Nice knife. I'd buy them again, and I definitely recommend them for anyone to use either as a daily carrier or as a compact survival knife that will fit in a small pack.

built tough Reviewed by spencer on Jul 06, 2013   5 out of 5

knife is good and heavy, and locks tight with no play in the blade. thick blade, and the serrations work well on the backspine of the blade. compass and firestarter are nice additions as well. well worth $10.00.

nice suprise Reviewed by L. Wheatley on Jul 04, 2013   4 out of 5

I just received this knife, and I was pleasantly surprised. For $10.00, this is a very good folder. It's alot heavier than I thought it would be, but not too heavy. Blade was sharp right out of the box, and with a little help, it's now shaving sharp. the serrated part does snag in the nylon pouch when you draw the knife, but if you wiggle it side to side, it comes out easier. Great knife for the money..buy it! You won't be dissapointed! I'm buying some more for Xmas gifts.

Sawback serrations snag nylon pouch - pain in the butt! Great knife, though. intimidating.
