"Nice product for the price. It is weighted nicely and long enough to "swing it" as a hammer or an axe, unlike some others out there that are too short. Unlike other bladed items I have received from Budk which have been razor sharp, this was not (thus 4 instead of 5 stars). It probably would do most tasks needing the blade okay. But, I like mine sharp enough that the shadow will cut. Nothing that two very fine diamond sharpeners and some time and elbow grease couldn't do. Still, very happy with the item and for what I want to use it."

"Nice size, thought this would be good for camping but the blade is so skinny compared to a hatchet I feel like if you were splitting wood it would hit the top of the handle on its way through. The cord it's wrapped with seems to stretch alot so might come loose. Decently priced. I gave this as a gift so I won't be returning."
