"This might work for the un-tricked-out AR, but I have a bipod, laser, and light on mine, (plus foregrip), so keep in mind it won't fit with more than one toy, the light or the laser - *maybe* two - on the front depending, but the bipod won't fit, and even if you strapped around the foregrip, it would not be readily pullable off your back. So unless they recut it wider, there should be a note this is sized for your basic AR without the extras. Also something that should be in the video or an instructions, not having had one before myself, it always wants to fall back to horizontal, I had to mini-bungee the lower ring all the way around to my right belt to pivot it to less than 45" off of vertical, at which point it's pretty constrictive to your movement and still hangs out at around 40 degrees or so. So maybe someone can explain better or demo in the video, but in my experience FWIW it seems to work in practice and movement more like a semiexposed carrying case, I just would never want it sticking even that far out to my side. If you attached it to a single-point sling and shouldered that it might sway more but still work better."
