"All in all, I love it. It's built beautifully, it's all incredibly sturdy, which I'm glad about. Sadly, I'm too scared of damaging it, so I can't take it out to test. But due to it's beauty to me, I like to take it out to hold. All in all, I recommend it to collectors, not users, due to it being 1045 carbon steel. 10/10."

"I got this for Sword of the Month Club. Very happy! My favorite color, and can shave hairs after I honed the blade, which was pretty sharp when received. This blade got even sharper than my Damascus Shinwas. Some say Damascus cuts better though. Haven't tested my katanas yet. Everything is tight and well-assembled. Mine even came with a presentation carrying box. Putting this one is on display in my office! Thanks BudK!"
A Very Nice Katana
"This was one of my first two katana ever. It's beautiful, it's sharp, it is well-made, and it is priced well. But seriously, BudK has yet to disappoint me, and I am at nine Shinwa blades in my collection, that were all bought from BudK, and all nine are swords, except for a tanto and wakizashi that are in a three piece deal I bought here on BudK. All I have to say is: This Bud's for you! And I'm not joking around...grab this sword before you can't anymore! You will be glad that you did!"
