I've been collecting swords and knives for a while, and I must say that this is by far the crown jewel of my collection. It comes sharp right out of the box (after all, it is "battle ready" and it comes with a cloth bag that is used in shipping and storage. The sword feels very nice when holding it and feels like it is at least half tang, if not full. Thanks Bud K, 5 out of 5 for this beautiful, quality item. I'll be shopping here for years to come.

It is a sturdy blade, but not as Sharpe as I had hoped. I fixed that rather quickly.

I had gotten this sword with a bit of hesitation on weather this sword is a sturdy or a sharp sword but once i had gotten it i was impressed that this sword was pretty sharp and well made even after hitting a wooden block it was still sturdy and no shacking with the blade all around its a good sword but it could be a bit sharper

Just received my sword today, shipping was fast for being the basic. Upon looking over the sword I notice a few small imperfections but face it nothing is absolutely perfect. I can feel the strength of the sword just by holding it, i know it would go through a side of beef easily, could have been a bit sharper but I have a feeling it will cause damage. Shinwa does make quality, but for the overall value go for the gold and get the higher end model but i will say this one will look great hanging up on the wall.

The sword is not worth the money unless your get the buy one get one sword free. Besides that its not worth the money at all. Not razor sharp out of the box. But that was expected since I got another sword for free. Hope this helped
