"The only problem I have with this kit is that when it arrived the uchiko was kind of spilling and the choji oil looked a little unprofessional but overall good the hammer and awl were of good quality and so was the oil the uchiko was starting too lose powder but not horribly the rice paper was not great but it's alright you can just as easily buy it at a store but it was high quality rice paper I do recommend this if you want everything to be higher quality but replacements can be common in most houses like mineral oil/is basically choji oil but it is still good"

"It came with only one piece of rice paper, no plastic container and one cloth that I did not know how i could clean the cloth so I used it to apply oil and threw it away, everything else was there. I recommend buying a kit like this just for the awl and hammer and uchiko (powder ball). Just use a rag to wipe off old oil and powder and use a paper towel to wipe on regular mineral oil ( choji oil is 99% mineral oil and 1% clove for fragrance) so yeah just grab mineral oil at a local store."

However, the materials that are listed are in the kit (besides a list of instructions, which would have been useful) and work like they should."

It works on any Sword and any metal, I used it on my Shinwa Damascus Odachi and my Carbon steel Katana sword and it did a great job of cleaning and shining it up!
