"I purchased both the plain and serrated blades. And I'm very happy with both. As a matter of fact the plain blade has already come in handy by protecting me from wild envelopes. I'm positive that if I didn't use the pen knife to open those envelopes I got in the mail, I would have most likely gotten a paper cut.
