"The shield looks great, seems solid, has a decent weight, but the resin still feel like plastic. I had the worst timing ever, right after I purchased this BUDK put the old wood version of the shield on their site...if I had known I wouldve choose the wood over this, not a fan of poly resin. O well, it's a little late now. If you are thinking of buying one of these shields, go for the wood one. If you like poly resin, this is perfect for you. They both look great regardless. I received the shield with missing COA , BUDK was helpful with the return and exchange."

"When my Gondorian War Shield arrived three days after I placed my order I was literally speechless, as this was as close to a real shield as possible and perfect I every way!!! The wood and steel construction is impeccable, and the antiqued artwork beyond reproached, not to mention that it held and felt like it was made for battle. The final touch was the Gondorian flag provided for the display!!!!! If you haven't added this piece to your collection, I can't stress enough that it's a MUST HAVE beyond compare! As always, Bud K has outdone themselves and I can't begin to thank you enough!!!!"
