"Just arrived today (a couple days late -- unusual -- but that's because of the weather, not BudK); when I ordered it, I figured for the price, how bad could it be? Won't have a chance to test it out (for real) until next weekend, BUT: reasonably sharp, definitely in the grey area between knife and machete. I get why other reviewers mention 'kukri' but they're mistaken: no distinct bend in the spine -- the edge definitely is at an angle from the handle though, which is kinda cool: kukri-ish effect if you're on the bad end. ;-) Not sure what grade Stainless it is; maybe next week I'll have some idea. Either way -- if I'd known I was getting this much knife for that much money? I'd have bought a dozen and saved some for gifts... ;-)"
