Timber Rattler Colorado Hunter Damascus Knife

"The knife arrived quickly and looks smashing!"

Victor N. (5/5)

Nice

"Very nice knife."

Kofi K. (5/5)

Good starting material if you know how to fix it.

"Being left handed I already expected to make my own sheath so I didn't care about that. At this price point I don't expect the sheath to be anything special. Like a lot of people, my brass spacers fell out and I lost one. Luckily I have a supply of flat brass in my workshop and I made my own spacer and epoxied everything into place. The rest were loose too so I just went ahead and did everything. That was a couple of years ago and I carry this knife on my belt as part of my classic cowboy outfit for cowboy action shooting. This knife make for good starting material if you know enough to fix it. It looks just fine for a costume and works well enough when sharpened to use it occasionally."

Ok overall

"Spacers were falling out fixed it but knife was really dull"

not what I hoped

"I have had my eye on this one for quite some time now. Was trilled to receive it as a Christmas gift. Like others, my brass spacers are falling out, not a deal breaker for me, I can fix that. The stag part of the handle quite wide on mine, I can fix that too. I just think that for the price you pay for this knife, you should not have to fix any part of it. I do like the look of the knife, shape of the blade is awesome. I wish that it was real damascus as advertised, but I knew that it was not before I got it. Once I fix it up I believe it will be a nice little knife. Sheath is nothing to get too excited about, yet what I have come to expect from Timber Rattler."

Colorado Damascus

"Awesome Full Tang blade , the Handle is beautiful but had issues with the brass spacers falling out , same thing happened to the Damascus pocket knife that I ordered that looks the same . The fix is a little epoxy Gorrilla Glue In the space and replace spacers. But the price is awesome for this beast of a knife."

Doug (4/5)

great but very dull!

"Overall, this is a very great knife. It is durable and fits well in the sheath (which is surprisingly rare these days). My one complain, however, is a big one. It came extremely dull, as in it had literally no edge and was completely flat on the edge side. Budk, the least you could do is sharpen your knives before you ship. I love this site, but this disappointed me. If not for that, it would have been five stars, though. Great knife, but duller than crap. Please sharpen your knives before you ship them!!"

Josh C. (4/5)

Nice knife

"Beautiful blade and nice handle. Sheath is a little disappointing. Good and thick leather but ill-fitting. No big deal because I will make a custom sheath for it myself. And could have had a better edge on it. These are minor complaints so it only gets 4 stars. Overall I am satisfied w/purchase."

New Knife for Chrismas

"I just received the knife in the mail today, impressive, I ordered it only 3 standard business days ago. It arrived in excellent condition, a hardened oil coat was present on the blade making rusting during shipment difficult. I will make a later posting once the person who this blade was purchased for has a little feedback for me. Thanks for exceeding my expectations BudK. Matt."
