"The blade is massive the weight to it is perfect,handle is great...as soon as i opened it just above the blade is a long scratch from the bottom to the top of blade,the full length of the blade.the price is good for what it is,which is a bowie knife that fits me perfect,first one that i got that is scratched."

"I was disappointed in this bowie, don't understand how this custom steel series is made of cheaper steel, I have several timber rattler bowies and most are made of surgical steel, where as the gator hunter has already begun to rust and I keep all my knives in the same case. Very nice looking knife just not worth $30, stick with the higher quality $20 models"
