"The rattler had a little tarnish on the brass and a little surface rust on the blade. Both cleaned up nicely. The Expendables bowie is nothing short of aamazing. I inserted a pool cue into the sheath to loosen it up and the knife now fits perfrctly."

"I buy a lot of things from budk and I normally get really good stuff but this was a let down the sheath looked like it had mold on it from seating where ever it was for to long and the brass on the hilt was patchy and missed colored"

"Honestly It is the most beautiful knife I have ever seen. The Damascus has a great pattern and the knife really just feels like a small sword. Extremely oiled blade. Full tang so you never have to worry about it snapping. The brass goes very nicely with the black wood handle. Blade isn't sharp and is kind of gritty and will need to be sharpened but that can be sorted out. The sheath is really the only complaint. It feels somewhat dried out and looks like it can crack or fall apart easy. Other than that the knife is a masterpiece"

The knife is extremely well made, it has such a solid feel and weight. Can’t wait until I take this bad boy hunting. I also purchase it’s brother, same knife except it’s polished steel. Timber Rattler Western Outlaw Bowie Damascus is an awesome buy. I just saw a very similar knife in Damascus steel and they wanted $ 429.99 in my Gun Store, right then and there I was very happy I picked up this knife from BUDK, and now I have it’s brother as well. Can’t go wrong with knife."
