"No experience yet - I literally got it about an hour-and-a-half ago. Nice blade -- same size as my Nepali originals (not thickness, though). Not necessarily a bad thing: noticeably lighter so should be easier to use for a longer period. Rust is not an issue: *very* well protected inside the box. Pretty sharp, too, but the coolest part (to me) is the sheath ;-) None of this nylon crap - thick leather and pretty well put-together. Just be careful: the strip that you snap in place around the handle is not attached - mine fell out the first time I picked it up..."
