Better than expected
"Just got this kukuri better than expected. Sharp and beautiful knife. Just shaved hair of my arm.ive got lots of kukuris and I live in the northwest lots of rain my carbon steel kukuri rust easleywere this one looks to stand out in the wet weather a little better.the only bad is the handle it has a little hot spot on the spine but early fixed . I love the feel of this now that I fixed it thank you BK"
Poor Finish but Great Once Fixed
"This knife arrived with a poorly ground edge where half of the edge still had shards of metal still left over from the grinding process attached to it. The handle is unfinished wood which needs some treatment for longevity. There was also a lengthwise recess in the blade with odd plastic-like debris in it. I only knock 1 star off the rating due to low price and ease of fixing these issues. After fixing the fit and finish and adding some customization, the core stainless steel blade and wood handle scales feel great. I put the blade through some work chopping dry wood branches, chopping green wood, carving dry wood, and cutting wood shavings for fire preparation while maintaining the freshly sharpened edge with good results. If you're expecting solid fit and finish, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a deal of a stainless steel Kukri to customize, this is a good option."
Nice knife!
"This is a very nice kukri knife! My only minor complaints are that it took a while to get delivered, and it's fairly heavy. Besides that, overall it's very well made. Looks great, seems sharp (haven't tested it yet though) and the handle gives you a good, controllable grip. My favorite part is the way the kukri has that signature curve in the blade."
