"When this knife arrived I noticed the leather sheath had embossing on it . The picture show no embossing. At first I was miffed but that soon passed. The embossing is a nice accent to the sheath . The grip feels Great and looks great, the blade is sharp and nicely balanced. Very happy with this purchase!"
"Firstly, I'm a big fan of old-school carbon steel knives. They're easy to sharpen up out in the wilds and hold the edge well. This knife is rough, full tang and ready to take a beating when necessary. For the price, it's an all-purpose survival blade that could double as hatchet or machete and looks like it could easily stand up to batoning. Can't wait to take it camping."
"Love this knife but they must have been hanging around for quite a while. Have pitted rust on the chrome around the handle and the sheath was soiled."

"Great knife for the price. Very rough and simple, but everything is solid. The wooden handle shrunk a little bit from the full tang, so it has these little sharp edges. I think I will just run a file over it to shrink it down to the handle."
"When they described it as rough forged, they weren't kidding! That said, it is well made and neat looking knife. Haven't had a chance to field test it yet, but it seems to be really well made and up to heavy duty tasks. Out of the box it was fairly dull but had an appropriate even bevel. 15 minutes on my work sharp got it scary sharp! Great knife and an even greater price, would like to know what grade of carbon steel it is forged from."
"Wood handle and guard flush to tang and well put together. The sheaf is leather but it doesn't smell like it. Sharp enough to chop wood but didn't cut paper very well. Rough forged look is kind of cool, hope it can stop rust."
"This is an outstanding knife. The group I camp with well we do extreme camping I have seen knives twice as expensive not hold up at all. Where we go camping in the jungles of South America your equipment must hold up This is a straightforward blade well balanced full tang and high carbon steel to boot But it has just one flaw in it which can be easily fixed That flaw is no lanyard hole at the end of the handle. You must have a hole to put orange shoelace in and tied it off to the knife. Why orange you may ask? Because the jungle sometimes get so dense that if you drop you knife you will never find it. But bright orange you just grab the laces In fact I am ordering a second one right now Thanks for your great services"
