"My ideal when purchasing this item was to attach my tent to my backpack for an upcoming hike. It was functional but the strapes were too short. It did not have the length to hold my tent. I realigned the pack and used the strap to hold my food bag. It did the job. The design of the carrier was good for the aspect of carrying items but the strapes are too short for the weight that the carrier could handle. Add about 3/4 inches of straping and you will be sold out of them in no time."
