"The thick walls on these cups is just as thick as it looks. They'll take quite a beating. The carabiner attached to the side is not as robust, but it works well for clipping on the cup. It is not a very large cup, but will do for filling from a larger container. Is you're thinking of using it for coffee or tea, the thick metal wicks away the heat very quickly. The cup will become hot while the liquid will cool quickly."
